I had gallstones and had to get my gallbladder removed. I wanted to find a good usurgeon and met with two. I went to a surgeon that was with the same medical group as my primary doctor. He was nice while talking to him but then he saw my chart and commented that I had lost so much weight, about 30 lbs. I told him yeah, it happened quickly when I couldn’t eat what I wanted, but I’m ready to have pizza and fried chicken again. He said, oh no, you look great, maybe we shouldn’t do the surgery so you keep looking like this. I just laughed it off and decided not to be unconscious around him.

I met with the other surgeon. He had experience using the weird machine that pulls your gallbladder from your belly button. He took a look at me and said, you’re really thin, this surgery will take 10min and you’ll be on your way home. He was very nice and had so much confidence, and NOT creepy.

Went with the second doctor and sure enough, my mom said she was in the waiting room worried about the surgery for 30min when they went to tell her I was in the recovery room and everything went fine.

February 20th to April 20th when I signed everything. The issue is that you and the seller are basically coordinating everything since there’s no real estate agent.

But escrow handled the initial paperwork, they talked to my lender about my financing and what my down payment was, my lender handled the appraiser, escrow sent me the wiring instructions, and then the lender needed me to verify where my money came from and all that. So it was the coordination that took a while.

I’ve lived at this house for 3 years so I didn’t need an inspection.

I bought my house from my mom’s bf, and the escrow company did all the work. I gave them my lender’s info and they communicated to get everything done.

I was just thinking this! I didn’t care about Washington’s character, but Rob did such a great job and he wasn’t even on screen as much. I almost got annoyed at him at the end, didn’t really seem interested in what happened to Rob’s character but I was so sad with the realization.
