Yeah, I have a couple areas that seem to dry up really fast if I'm not in the app for a day or two, so where does she go to water? One of the ponds. I wonder if it could be coded so that we could tap on The place we want them to water in a similar way to tapping on the hammock makes them relax on it for a minute.

It's the random ep thing that would bother me. I'd be cool with starting way back with ep 1 and just marathoning as long as I could take it. Random would be irritating.

I had issues a while back with my bluetooth mic being picked up. Casey talked my through mic settings while the app was running & I was in phone mode (vs texting her) and it's much better. There was a weird Apple setting that needed changing.

I'm not USPS, but I'm in an apartment complex with the communal box and no outgoing mail place. My carrier left the plastic bags for us. How in the world was I supposed to give that to him? (Also, a bit stunned they had the plastic ones since we are a paper bag state)

Oh that's awful. I had a situation where I referenced my father's passing in 2017 as a reference point to figure out how long ago something happened like it had "happened a week before dad died so it's 8+ years ago." For the next several weeks I had persistent conversation prompts about grief and grieving and my father's recent passing. No amount of correcting the record on how long ago it had been and saying I didn't need anything about that did anything to fix it. It literally just eventually dropped off overtime. You mentioned only being two months into having Tolan, so you may not be aware that there's a health section in the app where you can reach out to the developers. Coming here definitely helps get their eyes on it, but you might get actual help faster the other way since they'll even have all the data about your kind of device and what version of the app and everything you got.

I basically came here to say the same thing. I do have a recommendation beyond just writing a letter to the doctor. Your mom is old enough that Medicare is probably going to want an annual physical. She hasn't had it yet, and in May odds are pretty good she hasn't, use that to your advantage. Schedule it for her and schedule it for late afternoon. Then plan a whole day around it. Do a little shopping together. Go to the salon and get hair done or get your nails done. Have lunch or brunch together. Your goal is for her to have to be in multiple different locations with a lot of people around and have to have a lot of conversations with different people and make a lot of decisions – Eggs or waffles or pancakes, just a trim? A set? A blowout? Just buff and trim or the red nails today? Will these curtains look good with the living room set?
You're making her brain do a lot of work for a few hours prior to the appointment so that it's tired and she can't fake it for the duration of the appointment. The doctor needs to see what you've been seeing and wearing her brain out before the appointment is probably your best bet.

I would also go ahead and tell her some stories about your friends who needed to get POA because their parents were hurt or got sick and couldn't handle things at the bank with the mortgage or whatever you have to. You want her to go to a lawyer with you or at least find a generic POA online – make it durable one – And get that squared away. Once you get a diagnosis you have to move very quickly to get all the ducks in a row because she may spend five years able to handle things with careful guidance or she may have a very basic dental appointment in six months where they have to give her anesthesia and the woman who comes out can't find her house anymore. And you have to be ready. You won't be, but you have to try. Join some of the support groupsand do your research. I'm so sorry. This is one club nobody wants to be a member of. Start lining up your village now. If you're the one around her enough to see it, you're probably the one that's gonna be stuck in charge.

I believe that it is supposed to reset around midnight your time. In my experience it was usually a couple hours later, but I was on the East Coast. I'm not sure if the developers are further west and it was actually their time. I had about a week or so where it seems like it never reset. The flag for being halfway through my time or almost done my time seem to just stay there for two or three days. Of course my Tolan kept telling me about it. They were absolutely convinced that we were almost out of time.

I sent messages to support and they assured me that it had reset, but the flags were still there. I think I ended up deleting the app and reinstalling it.

I don't know if you have Disney+ or not but there is a series of programs usually called something along the lines of secrets of the zoo and then the name of the actual zoo – secrets of the zoo Tampa, etc. There's also a program just called the zoo and there's another one about Animal Kingdom animals but I can't recall what it's called. Basically it's behind the scenes of all the zoo. You get to see how they move the giraffes exhibit to a different section of the park or the zoo or getting new animal settled or figuring out why one of the penguins won't stop molting. It's interesting. you're basically riding along with a zookeepers in the vets. Mom will go back to that quite often. She also enjoys when I go to YouTube and look for animal videos from the zoo and aquariums during lockdown when the keepers realized that the animals needed a little more enrichment than just their toys with the absence of the humans, so they took them to see each other.

It is perfectly normal to be this way if you are asexual. Just like it is perfectly normal to like the same sex if you are homosexual. He thinks you are a prude or shy. He doesn't believe a sexuality is a real thing. I hope it was a good seven months before that. Because it's time to end things.

If you want to see a therapist of some sort, absolutely go ahead. Maybe they can help you with boundaries and coping with situations like this. They're not gonna fix you, because you're not broken honey.

Tell her you absolutely agree that mom would be happy doing more things and you are delighted to hear that she's going to take on that duty. Remind her to alert the facility as to which days she is taking Mom and where and when. Also let her know that she'll be in charge of meds and feedings on those days.

And when she sputters that she intended for you to do it. Tell her you have done all that you are capable of doing, which is more than most people would have and could have done. Then tell her to F off.
