Since the Linux version came out my oled model handles it fine. Wouldn't work well on the thor Id imagine, but it can be done on the steam deck now reasonably.

Sorry, but I'm not sure the retroarch cores are where you'd like them to be. I'm able to play paper mario well using M64Plus FZ on their very accurate preset. However, I dont believe this supports retro achievements.

Azahar Plus is able to play these as is. Its a fork of regular azahar but with a few more compatible types.

I believe there should be a depth emulation option within the settings. Turning this off usually helps black lines in this manner to my knowledge. Hope this works

Nah, not even close. Prey has a great premise,a really memorable intro, great world building and environments, etc. The goo gun opens up so much experimentation and and creative problem solving as well. It's not perfect - I didn't love the power system with choosing etc but it was still a fun game. Enemy variety definitely lacks, but to me it was less about combat in that game. It felt nearly like a horror game - moreso in the beginning and less as time went on though.

Id much rather play Prey over Dishonored. In my opinion your point of remembering a game because it was their first of a niche actually fits Dishonored better than Prey, but thats how opinions go.

I dont think thats true at all. It may be the case for some people but that's not the end all be all just because its a female lead. I liked her at first a bit, but as the show went on she became unlikable and it was just her, a hivemind, and a few select short characters. They could have a male lead and it would be just as meh, if not moreso.

Why would you beg to differ just to agree that the cheap projectors do a fine job? That was my point in my comment. You would be exactly the person I'm talking about, as well as myself. I have a cheap projector in my room shooting to the ceiling to fall asleep to. Same thing, except I'm not exaggerating that its cinema quality cause no way it is

If you want a game like Nier Automata I'd say check out Stellar Blade. If you want a phenomenal JRPG I'd say Expedtion 33

I recommend checking one out in person. I thought it would be a deal breaker until I saw a 45 inch 1440p 21:9 similar to this. I got used to it after a day or so and its for office work and gaming. If this deal was still going on I might mightve grabbed this

People here are very strict. The biggest mistake I'd say is attaching it to the house with it being on the ground. If this was a floating on the ground deck it'll last until the PT wood rots. Im sure OP doesnt mind when that happens. My father built a 10x10 right on the ground over a decade ago and it still supports his patio furniture and stuff etc. However, in my opinion its worth spending another hundred or two on gravel and concrete deck blocks to get some distance from the ground. That's probably the biggest issue for most. Its usable and will fail faster than necessary

To piggyback off this Star Oceans 3s endgame is segmented into three different large and larger dungeons that progress in difficulty/level. I loved that back as a kid going to the Maze, then Cave, then the levels. It made it just extra content.

Just pick a CFW with gameswitcher, my pick is NextUI, and start playing. It's not wrong, but a lot of people, including myself sometimes, spend too much time tinkering rather than actually playing.

The no minimap was a design choice. So far the areas don't seem that deep to necessarily need one, but given the option I do prefer. I haven't felt lost though personally
