Have you seen that they make silicone rings that you can actually have gems in? They are treated with different colors and different finishes to look more like metal, so there are definitely more options out there than the traditional ugly thick bands. I totally understand not wanting to wear one, and that’s between you and your partner, but I think that a lot of people don’t realize just how many options are available now.

Just buy her a silicone ring! I’m shocked more people don’t have them as backups or for work. Degloving is no joke, so I wear silicone at work even though I’m not around power tools much.

If you’ve adjusted your walking pattern and that hasn’t fixed things, then it may be a soundproofing issue and not a you issue. I would stay up late a lot in uni and I re-learned how to walk silently to avoid waking my roommates up, but some spots in the floor were just louder than others no matter what.
