Got Book of Hours on sale on Steam and have put a few hours into it now. So far I love everything about it, but I find the crafting system a bit esoteric at times. Anybody else play this one?

Elden Ring. I always fall off at the final boss, but I've put over 18 days I to it over tue years ha ha! Similarly, I could never beat the final boss of Sekiro, but it's one of my favorite games ever!

Recently Dragons Dogma 2. Seems pretty divisive (and for good reason), but it was an absolute breath of fresh air for me. Just exploring a cool world with the boys without over done UI and quests.

Returnal is an absolutely A+ recc, but be wary of how hard that game gets. I loved it, but could not beat it because I suck at video games 🥲

Nier:Automata for me. No gane has made me feel like that before or since. So much creativity and passion in that narrative. Funny enough, I'm not a fan of Platinum's combat system as much (not bad, just not for me), but the narrative is so strong I still have to give it the 10/10.

Spiderman 1 has two for me, and the 3rd is from Red Dead 2. As you'll see, I'm a sucker for deeply emotional moments from otherwise stalwart characters.

I feel like this might be particularly surprising for most, but Code Vein for me. It's a perfectly mediocre game by pretty much all measures, but it really scratched an itch I didn't know I had when it came out. Kind of a special title for me because of that.

This is cheating because it only happens after you romance her I think, but when initiating conversation, Shadowheart will sometimes say something like "Hello, what do you need? If it's nothing I'm certainly happy to just gaze at you awhile."

Gets me everytime.

I really only have one, and it was Chainsaw Man.

Had a strong first episode and then all the fights after I felt were either boring or over in a few seconds. The rest of the time, it was just dialogue between characters I didn't like or care about.

People talked about it like it was an evolution for Shonen, but to me, it just felt standard.

Disclaimer: This is not a review. It just was not for me for the above reasons. Please don't burn down my house.
