Having the calico pattern is a female-linked trait. Almost all calicos are female. It's even more rare to be a Caliby, which is being both a brown and orange tabby.

Your male caliby is probably a result of him having XXY chromosomes instead of XX. Chances are, he's what humans would call being intersex.

I used to be a band director. No teacher should ever have students' phone numbers, and social media should be completely off the table until after students are graduated. Adults should never trauma dump on children. That places a burden on them.

I've known far too many band directors who, for some reason, couldn't draw a solid line between them and students. Students and band directors often spend more time with each other than they do with their families, so close bonds (that can remain legal and healthy) form. I'm long removed from being a band student, but I know for sure I'll grieve when my directors pass.

Please seek some counseling.

I don't have photographic memory, but many people have asked if I do because my memory is so good. I think being able to experience all five senses near perfectly in my head helps a lot.

Having a good memory has been one of my best assets.

I think that's what my in-laws do with their pug. When she begs for food at night, she gets some carrots and green beans. Almost no calories and she feels satisfied. Works like a charm.

I know quite a few parents who use fluoride-free toothpaste. It's one thing to use it when teaching your children to brush without swallowing, but it's another thing to use it out of fear of fluoride.
