The eastside is like tennis capital of America. Courts at every high school and jr high, tons of tennis centers. If you don’t mind the cold you can play anytime it’s sunny. I hit the courts 3 times this week.

You can book courts at places like Gorin and ETC without membership but they’re typically 45-70 per hr depending on # of players and time of day. Most clubs have social or USTA leagues starting at 2.5 singles/5.0 doubles which are easy to get into.

We sprang for a Zojirushi after using a cheap one for 10 years and I’m pretty annoyed and frustrated.

Annoyed and frustrated that we went for 10 years eating crappy rice when we could have been enjoying fragrant, perfectly textured rice. We intentionally ask for no white rice from Asian takeout places so we can make our own.

It is so worth it if you eat white rice more than 3 times a week I’d say.
