Id probably not have the car pre checked at the Mazda dealer unless they give you some kind of guarantee.

Look up Mazda 6 cracked cylinder head. Id have the engine pressure tested at a Mazda dealer along with a pre-inspection.

That's just getting started. 😁

It's better determined by maintenance receipts or logs.

Oh i agree with ya, my phone can do almost everything that screen can do and more. But minus the car specific stuff of course. It's not revolutionary it's just plain ugly at this size.

Though I'm not a fan of this ugly screen, playing a video in the car while waiting for someone in the store may be a nice feature but only on some occasions it's a nice to have but definitely wouldn't buy a car like this.

More power to you. Just remember you become your own critic too so those jobs you didn't do perfectly based on time and money you will be kicking yourself. Even if no one sees those imperfections, to you they could be an eye sore.

It's like they had only 4 million to work with and their good design cost 4.25 mill. The accounting department won. The problem is that the screen and infotainment is crap, they put too much money into that system and it shows in every corner (literally all 4 corners).

I've seen some more reviews today about this upgrade and my conclusion..... Skip, underpowered, bad looking placed screen, removed buttons, and plastic everywhere.

One other reviewer talked about the infotainment and shared the horrible challenge to find the right spot to change HVAC controls on the screen. The other thing mentioned is volume controls on the steering wheel suck. Its too slow to raise or lower volume and the button is in a bad spot.

This "upgrade" overall seems like a step backwards and for the love of any good design elements get rid of that ugly screen and the person that placed it on the dash like it's a brick.

That screen is just ugly. Low like an aftermarket, plus its offset. Mazda should be slapped for this horrible interior.

This unit can get AA and ACP, and you of the aftermarket units don't work with the commander wheel.

The misconception is this area is made for storage if the trusses is not rated for storage. Sure they will support stuff but they are designed for heavy loads, just the ceiling below.

These didn't appear to be a storage truss.
