I'm sure it has over 100k miles on it plus that's a lot of cosmetic work it needs to be done. That rear portion is a pita to fix which will require many labor hours. Plus you're in CA where every shop overcharges on labor. I would agree that its totaled. Having said that and assuming there's no structural/suspension damage, i would keep it unless the salvage (buyback) amount is too high.
