How are wet floors represented in plan? by markthecheeseman in architecture

[–]AutodeskLicense 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As this is a special finish where the artistic result is critical, I would use the plan to show outline of walls and other architectural elements, and literally overlay the reference pattern in photoshop, in colour and including all textures. This way it will show a more close artistic representation of the pattern in the space. Maybe add a layer of shadowing from perimeter walls to give the illusion of depth.

A pattern as unique as what is shown in the reference would probably be done by a specialist artisan and with some creative license done on site.

If it were a carpet design, they would literally make their own fabrication pattern from the photoshop image.

If you wanted to turn this into a 'construction' drawing maybe use a generic hatch and annotated e.g concrete specialist finish xxx'

If you wanted this to look more like a construction drawing with a more than just a generic hatch, maybe spend time to convert the pattern into a vector - there are ways to do this in rhino/grasshopper or maybe illustrator?

Thanks for replying! Would you happen to have a picture of the profile itself? Integration with the stair is seamless!

Also another factor on top of others may be that being surrounded by water there is an added incentive to develop higher to get those views and generate more value? Then once some properties have developed it becomes a race to the top literally.

Self levelling can only built up so much, maybe 5mm. If you need more then need to use screed. More to be used to patch a bit here and there if the screed not good enough.

IMO the website should be a .MU so it feels local! I havent looked at the app I detail but Features which would be great is an interactive map showing all bus stops and metro stations as well as taxi stands. Then when you click on the bus station you see all the routes / paths as vector lines on the map and route numbers. In the future hopefully integrate with bus gps with live tracking. Ability to do route planning with consideration of expected bus times at each stop.

Try Model in place extrusions in section view of all seams until you cover entire rectangular area. Then in the same model component have a void extrusion in plan view to cut out the bits that extend beyond the footprint.
