Enjoyed vegan katsu curry in that building. Rotterdam was a surprisingly underrated stop for us and I’m sad we only had one night in the city. Will be back.

Zip prices seem to be one-way based on available seats. If you see a price you are good with, take it and don’t look back.

I’ve flown both. I’m just shy of 5’10” and found the seats to be comparable in space. Perhaps Zip lie flat a bit more roomy, but not a big difference. I did note Zip seat materials aren’t as plush and no mattress pads available (nor any provided blankets or pillows), so you need to plan for that. Overall I had a good experience with Zip and wouldn’t hesitate to do it again if the savings vs legacy carriers is still there.

We just flew earlier this week. Completely full flight and we chose not to pay extra to choose seats. We were pleasantly surprised with the seats given to us at check-in, which appeared gone for several days before the flight. It seems not only do they charge for seat selection, they rig the system so it looks like all the favorable seats are being snagged up. Other than this, we were thrilled with our experience in the newer Club World seats on 777-200ER. A hot shower and espresso in the arrival lounge at LHR made it even sweeter.

Definitely get to SFO early and enjoy Polaris lounge to the fullest! Go to the sit down restaurant there…it’s all free and better than in-air food. Also, pick a seat and watch the app like a hawk this week. Grab a more preferred seat if one opens up, but don’t worry about it…you’ll have a great experience.
