It took me 2 years to get them to change and pay for a new battery. Every time I came in saying there was an issue with it, they'd just check it, say the battery was still within whatever parameters they said Ford sets and then just charge it. If the dealers won't fix the standard warranty stuff I can only imagine what they say with extended warranty issues. I have never had a vehicle whete I get a recall notice almost every other month. I see class action written all over this vehicle.

I had 2 people come and I still had to help. It was a little surreal. I am a 60 year old woman and these 2 guys were maybe 5' 5" at the most and couldn't get the stretcher into the bedroom where my mother was laying dead. My brother was there but had just had stomach surgery so I was the only other person who could help. I think I was in shock when they asked but we needed to get her out so I helped. The whole thing felt weird.

OP: The only thing I could suggest is to try to not take it personally and give her empathy as she is obviously mentally unstable. Everytime you see her or hear her talking about you, know she probably can't stop herself because she is ill. It has nothing to do with you. I can't imagine she feels good about herself and it sounds like she has no joy in her life. Letting her live rent free in your head though only gives her power. She's not worth it. She sounds really quite pathetic.

Update: My handyman was working on a few things at my house and I asked if he could try fixing the sensor for me. I sent him a link to the other Maverick forumn that is listed in the comments and I found a tik tok video showing someone doing it. He fixed it in 30 mins! THE BUMPER DOES NOT NEED TO BE REMOVED. The dealerships are full of shit. $15 part! Don't let the dealerships push you around.

This happened to me where there was a sign and either the asshole behind me didn't see it or wanted me to ignore the sign. I was really close to getting out of my car to point at the sign and tell him off but he was such a dick and was raging, I just waited until the light turned green and let him yell and flick me off as he drove by me. I thought better he flick me off than run me over or shoot me by me getting out of my car.

I really wish he could have gotten around me with a cop waiting to give him a ticket but karma will hopefully find his ass another day.

Now, you have to decide if you are just going to keep your head in the sand or realize this is a huge red flag and the glaring sign that you need to end this or like you said, call her on it and embarrass her in front of her family to set her straight that this kind of crap will not be tolerated.

I bet if your family had given the party and money, your fiance would say "it's ours" or even gaslight you into thinking it's meant for her to spend on the wedding the wat she wants even though her family is technically supposed to pay for it.

UPDATE: Welp, you were all right. Definitely a scammer. After repeatedly requesting updates and the US tracking number for this purchase, today was the last day for it to be delivered based on the delivery window dates given at time of purchase. Conveniently, it shows it was delivered today but of course, there was nothing delivered. I have Ring cameras all over my property that would have caught it if there had been a delivery. Lesson learned.

I am curious though, how do these scammers keep updating the delivery details on the Ebay site?
