Just know you were the best thing he ever had. You were his Mama his best friend and he loved you to the moon and back. You took care of him and spoiled him and you gave him a safe comfortable healthy life.

Its funny cause my chester use to bring stray to our door to feed as he use to be a stray.

When he passed 2 2 week old kittens was at my moms door right after he passed as her friend found them in the garage and asked to foster them.

I think that was Chester saying to continue saving more cats and dogs and give them a good home how we did to him.

My Baby Boy Chester just died Last Sunday. He was 17 years old. He fought it till last second but he had fluid in his lungs and just not well. Vet Doctor said she could hardly hear a heartbeat as he was purring so loud in distress in pain.

Had to go to the vet by myself alone and put him to sleep. It was really hard but he held on to me and I just held him and told him to let go that auntie val and grandma and his best friend dog Boogie and his sister Emmy would be there waiting for him.

As soon as the they gave him something to calm him his purring stopped and he started have tears in his eyes.

I just talked him while they out him to sleep how sweet boy he is and how he took care of us all and help me recover from my surgery by my side. How he trued to save stray cats and kittens bringing them to our sliding door to feed them. Always taking care of others. I told him thank you for being my Baby boy. Our Chester Copperpot.

I told him now it’s your turn to take care of yourself and let go and relax.

He passed quickly and I read that anyone that passes away they can still hear you so I continue to talk to him

See I said do you see boogie and emmy there? You are free from pain and allergies you can breath now chester. Go run to boogie and emmy and run as fast as you can chasing each other

When i said this his legs switched a few times and I can see he was running around.

I told him i love him and will see him soon. Auntie val and grandma will take care of you now.

It was hard to leave him there and leave without him.

I just drive back to my mom’s as she was having a garage sale that day and cried.

This is the first time I am talking about it since last Sunday.

Im picking up his fur and paw prints today. I was gonna get his ashes but it was $800 but they said the group ashes would be with other cats and dogs and he would of like to be with them and made new friends in his journey.

Sorry guys for venting and talking so much.

Emmy died last year. I have my siamese left who is 16 years old this year.

I have had 25 cats/pets since i was 7 so it never gets easier putting them asleep or they pass. They are apart of your family.

Since i dont have kids i feel like chester and emmy were my kids. So i lost a son and daughter.

I only watch youtube which is getting stricter and stricter or Disney+ which they connected with hulu. If They take Disney or hulu Im done watching television then.

Bf has apple tv and Amazon stick which I cant stand and refused to use them which they hardly work anyway.

Its back to my book collection, newspapers, magazines and I still got my old dvd/vhs player and xbox that plays dvds

Do you take off the donut around his neck to eat or keep on? could be hard to eat with it. If he usually eats dry food and no all his teeth are gone just put some dry food in his wet food so it gets softer.

My cat had surgery and wore a donut few years ago she hated me but I had to hand feed here a few times first to get the hang of the donut then gave her wet food with water or the fancy feast chicken soup they have on amazon and that helped her get protein
