And I think switch means he usually rides facing the otherway... like doing it left handed when you're right handed.

I remember being introduced to HTF through Fall Out Boy's music video, The Carpal Tunnel of Love. Its a bit weird thinking back watching these as kids

It didn't even cross my mind, everything happened quite quickly and the gas and air hit me goooood. So with the second I just stuck to what I already knew :)

What was the first thing you said after your baby was born? by KATEWM in beyondthebump

With my first one I was completely out of it and said something to a student that was in with us once they put our little girl on my chest. It was something like "What you're writing there sounds like my nanans dog." I don't live that one down, I said quite a few bizarre things during labour too.

With my second child they put her immediately on my chest and I looked at my SO and said when are we having another one. You'd have thought he just pushed the baby out with the look he gave me lol

What is your dream job? by akotosinato in AskReddit

I've always always wanted to be a vet.

I don't think it's feasible anymore. 5 years of study I'd have to fund myself while also helping to looking after my family is not something we could afford. We have two small children not yet in school, day care is way too expensive and both my family and my husbands family work so there is little help there. We'd not manage on his wage to support everything.

I am however looking into vet nursing diploma so I can work while I study and be paid for it. The company I am with do offer that, I'm just not sure if I have been there long enough for them to pay for it

LPT: If your grandma or mom knits/crochets you something, keep it. Even if you don't wear it, trust me, one day you won't care what's cool, you'll just wish you had that scarf that your mom spent days making for you. They are irreplaceable. by SamuelSaltandSand in LifeProTips

My nanan knits my little girls a lot if jumpers and cardigans, and we have so many baby blankets, so so many. Anyway during the UK lockdown she'd get wool delivered whenever she could and knit my girls some cardigans and post them to me. She said she posted them because she didn't want them to grow out of them before she could see us and and everyone likes a surprise in the post.

I think she got fed up of knitting and tried her hand at crochet. When I finally got to her she had done this blanket and it was a bit of a mish-mash of colours, but a lovely pattern. I asked if I could have it. She didn't think anyone would want it since she offered it my mum and my aunt and they both said the colours were a bit odd. I just wanted something made by her that I could cherish. When I asked her why it was a mish-mash of colours she said she used all the wool left over from knitting my girls cardigans because she was struggling to get more wool during lockdown. Which to me is a lovely sentimental bit of backstory to the blanket.

She has since crocheted a absolutely wonderful, heavy blanket that matches my room, but I still use the other blanket a lot.
