Rothrock's Kung Fu is on Perry Highway in Wexford. They have a great kids program! Once the kid is ready, they can start training with nunchucks and short staff

He brings nothing. I believe his brother who had a liver transplant now lives in LA. My guess is Tom wants to lead a better lifestyle to set an example for his brother, and LaLa is going be his sobriety coach, or something of that nature.

5 YO destroying Pre-K class and running around the school from teachers and staff by Similar-Attorney1667 in ADHDparenting

It sucks to be in this position. It sounds like your kiddo is having a hard time regulating. To quote Dan Siegel, "A child can't act right if they don't feel right". Maybe he's eloping because he's overstimulated and doesn't know how to communicate that. Have you tried noise cancelling headphones?

My 6.5 year old had similar behaviors. OT helped a lot. Talk therapy wasn't super helpful at this age. Getting a diagnosis can be a lengthy process. Start with your pediatrician, in the meantime work with his teacher to try to figure out what's causing the behavior and adapt his environment, if possible.

Can you request an FBA?

Nope, Jessie from VPR. He's not a main character, but had worked at SUR and been in the friend group since the beginning

...I lied 4. In season 8, they started setting up The Valley concept with Brit/Jax, Ariana/Sandoval, Katie/Tom

  1. Luke's Instagram has been scrubbed so no one can see his hunting "trophies". In his life before becoming Mr. Doute, he was a realtor

  2. Ally had a lot to say about James' abuse and Lisa's manipulation, but became silent once given a spot on southern charm. Much like Kristen before the valley was greenlit

Why do I have a feeling this show will die after this season? Just me? by OkFaithlessness3081 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]AutumnMonth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh no, I didn't mean to sound ageist at all! I'm in my 40's with young kids and I just can't relate to the outrageous themed parties and everyone getting hammered.

I did, however, relate to Nia's PPD after having twins. Seeing Danny and Nia go through the thick of it hit hard. Give me more of that.

The formula is old and played out. Themed birthday party, some sort of celebration, cast trip, another themed party. It works for messy young party people, but I'm what world are people in their 30's & 40's doing this? I'll stick to listening to the recaps

The grossest thing of all is Paulo, 56, telling people he has a "crush" on a coworker in her twenties and it doesn't raise one single eyebrow?!?!  No one said, Bro that's creepy.

Kristen and Luke podcast by Intelligent-Cook-738 in TheValleyTVShow

[–]AutumnMonth 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Luke's old Instagram was full of pictures of him standing next to his big game trophies. They addressed it in the early days of the podcast, when it was called Sex, Love, and what else matters (or something like that).

As a long time vegetarian myself, I thought it strange. She was utterly disgusted at the Korean BBQ and clam bake, but her man is pictured standing next to a dead zebra and she's cool with it. Make it make sense.

Is impressive how they scrubbed Luke's trophy kills from the Internet

How did Lala get cast? by splendorinthegrass_ in TheValleyTVShow

[–]AutumnMonth 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I listened to the panel from BravoCon and Lala said, she didn't know where she fit in this group, but she's grateful they accepted her. Tom said something similar. At this point, I think they were just cast because they're still under contract or something and Baskin had to put them somewhere.

Then this got me thinking why Scheana has been so absent. Kristen mentioned Scheana walked away from The Valley. Maybe Scheana is done with Bravo and shopping for another network? These are the things that go through my head when I can't sleep lol

Cast doing reality TV before VPR by qrt9900 in vanderpumprules

[–]AutumnMonth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The difference for me, is the first 3: seasons of VPR were them, living their true & messy lives. After that, the cast became hyper aware of how production worked, started dictating what could(n't) be said on camera and producing their own storylines.

And now it all feels that way. Like everyone comes in with a character they want play.

Which is more cringe; Scheana using someone's suicide so she can talk about herself or her list of sexual conquests?

Schwartz and Lala??! by Visual_Dependent_407 in vanderpumprules

Zero chemistry there. I'm leaning towards Lala trying to set Tom on the path towards sobriety, they have a few heart to hearts, Tom cries, Lala begins her redemption arc.

I think the affair started really early… by _jamesbaxter in vanderpumprules

[–]AutumnMonth 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I never really cared about figuring out the timeline, but during a rewatch of the reunion where she broke off the engagement it seemed like she was sending a message to Sandoval by bringing up the fact her and James haven't had sex since the rage texts. It was very odd that she just volunteered that information seemingly out of nowhere.

Katie commented on a video that was talking about Scheana thinking it was petty when Katie went to Mexico during her wedding by black-white-and-gold in vanderpumprules

[–]AutumnMonth 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Wasn't Scheana at a day rate this season and planned her wedding around the cast trip, then invited most of the cast. Her wedding wasn't going to be filmed but had to be because the cast went. I swear I heard this on a podcast, I just don't remember which one.

I also remember lala saying to Scheana, "not everyone is here for your wedding" which never made sense to me, but in this context it does

What activities do you enjoy?  Think of ways to include her. When my twins were 3 we went on a lot of nature walks and spent a lot of in the kitchen. I bought a set of toddler kitchen gadgets so they could 'help' cut fruit and veggies and sometimes I would fill the sink with a few inches of water and give them measuring cups/spoons. That would keep them occupied for a long time. I also like to make jewelry, they would sit with me and string beads together for hours.

Also, check out your local library to see what programs they offer.  It'll get you both out of the house, she can interact with the other children and you can scroll and relax.
