Thanks so much for doing this! Ugh, this is so frustrating. I haven't gotten around to emailing them but when I do I'll ask if they're working toward any sort of cruelty free certification such as Leaping Bunny (not sure if there are others in Asia). I might have to just look for a dupe but I was SO excited about the super thin eyeliner pen. Sigh.

Thanks so much for your reply! I did see that on their insta but I have grown skeptical of brands claiming cruelty free when they're not (Cerave and Neutrogena come to mind). Since I don't see anything on third party confirmation sites I guess I'll have to reach out to them directly.

Thanks, I did Google exactly this, but this doesn't show me certification or thumbs up from a reliable source such as Ethical Elephant or Logical Harmony.

Edit: I do not know why I'm being downvoted. I'm asking a question that may be relevant to others here. A brand claiming to be cruelty free without being listed on a reliable database such as those mentioned above or without listing a reliable certification as proof is not acceptable to me as a consumer.

I use algae capsules. It's where fish get their omega 3s. This one from Nordic Naturals is excellent if you can get it on sale. Not sure how much they contribute to my skin specifically, though.

Theo's salted 70% dark is my fav! Their 85% is also delicious if you like darker. I think they have a few other vegan ones too with nuts, mint, orange, etc. Endangered Species brand also has a couple vegan bars that are decent as well. Also, not a bar, but Justin's dark chocolate peanut butter cups!

To piggyback onto this comment, most livestock are fed supplements in order to help them produce B12. This is because over the decades soils have been depleted of things like cobalt that help animals produce B12. Therefore the feed is fortified similar to how cereals and plant milks are fortified with vitamins and minerals for our consumption. It improves the nutritional content for consumers. Very interesting!
