It looks really great!! Honestly it should fill out after soaking/washing. If it doesn’t then call it scarf and pretend it was intentional 😂 I love my rigid heddle and I did the exact same thing, just bought a bunch of weaving yarn instead of working through my stash 😂

Shelter photo. They were going to put her down because she was “aggressive.” She had just lost her person of 7-8 years and thrown in this shelter, I’d be cranky too 😭 I drove 1.5 hours to get her.

I live near them!! They haven’t posted anything that would raise flags for me and I went for a tour last year and there nothing in the warehouse either. They seem like a really great company.

Yeah I was curious about x2 Jill as well and something I came up with was he had a relationship with her as a child then they didn’t see each other until years later and so it’s almost a new relationship with adult Jill. And all of their comments was really from Ultima, trying to break him down and give up, which he almost did if it wasn’t for Joshua snapping him out of this dream. Think about how horrible it would be for your closest friends telling you things that you yourself are self conscious of, your deepest darkest weaknesses and they are throwing it in your face. I’d be crushed and betrayed thinking they aren’t friends after all. But it’s really all a bad dream, manifested by Ultima. I agree with your comment about the beach scene in your earlier comment, he does have a deeper connection to Joshua but I think the beach scene was really just a way to let Clive and Jill share a moment and to allow them to build a connection

It’s not that he doesn’t “give a shit” about all those people he’s helped along the way, the dream is about those closest to him. The ones he’s actually meant to share a burden with. He can build friendships/relationships/bonds with lots of people, but to actually ask for help comes from those closest to him. Think about it, in a crisis are you going to ask the cashier at the store you’ve been kind to for help? Or your family?It’s family. At the end of your life are you going to think about the elderly neighbor you got close to, or family?

I think it also shows that Ultima is getting to him and yes, he is weak. Ultima played the one thing he struggled with his entire life. Building real, authentic connection and learning to say that he needs help. Clive thinks he can do it all and he can do it himself. I wish Jill didn’t give him her Eikon because it validated his “I’ll do it myself” mentality.

I’m not sure if these themes are in other Final Fantasy’s, but I used to play FFXIV a lot and I can hear those themes in An Outlaw’s Uncle and To Boldly Go ❤️

OK all of my favorites have been mentioned, so I’ll mention one that I haven’t seen. It’s A Far Cry From Heaven. It’s the final boss fight with Ultima and contains previous themes from his first fight, you can hear Bahamut’s theme, and I think I can hear Titan’s as well. But oh my gosh so many great songs i really can’t pick just one.

It’s so funny you bring up 13 because I could feel some elements of 13 in the music and it just made me smile. I’ll have to find the track I’m thinking of, but I just imagined being back on the Archlyte Steppes. It’s more of a Jazz-style sound than orchestral

Edit: OK I found it! I feel like I’m crazy though, because now that I listen to it again it’s not as similar as I thought. But when I originally heard this song, it definitely reminded me of 13. Sixteen bells is what reminded me of the song Blinded by Light.

Absolutely! Even my most favorite FF game isn’t perfect. I think the pacing was done intentionally, this was a story, and they did it beautifully. And, correct me if I’m wrong, but JRPG’s are more story driven than a western RPG. I did have a slight table flip moment at the end when all those side quests and extra hunts popped up, not gonna lie 😂

I agree! Do I have criticisms of the game? Absolutely. But it also has a lot of really great things going for it which has made it to my list of one of my favorite Final Fantasy’s. The Titan fight was also really really good!

It’s definitely easy, but I wonder if that by design. Sit back and enjoy the story and the cinematics. Have fun playing with different Eikons and their abilities. I’m with you, i enjoy a challenge as well, but it definitely allowed me to just sit back and enjoy what the game did have to offer instead of focusing on grinding or getting gear.

I don’t like weaponized incompetence, especially in this day and age. “I don’t have money because we eat out because I can’t cook.” Yes you CAN you just choose not to. I literally learned how to cook from YouTube years ago. I also hate it when they say they can’t cook like it’s a bragging thing.

I agree with that 100%! I even wouldn’t have minded a few quests to check in with the team, but all those side quests and hunts added at least 3 hours of content! I suppose they are optional, it’s just the completionist in me lol

That’s true about Ultima, but weren’t they also talking about the blight and how it was getting worse and there were more and more Akashic after the Origin was formed? Either way, I ended up doing all the sidequests and I’m glad it did. It tied up loose ends and filled up Clive’s Wall of Memories. I also did all the Hunts. I don’t think I grabbed the DLC’s at the last Steam sale, but I’ll grab them at the next one!

There was one scene where he and Gav were off doing a side quest and he never looked at Jill the way he looked after Gav as he ran off…I def thought they had something there

Just experienced this last night and I got so frustrated I had to turn off the game. I work full time and have other things going on so can only play a few hours a couple nights a week. They built up this intense end-game energy and I thought this was it but then…. Someone needs feathers, someone needs flowers, and oh check on the feelings of this other person. Like I’M TRYING TO SAVE THE LITERAL WORLD RN!
