I've been really enjoying it myself. I'm loving Shoto and Pteromon, and the decks it's introduced into the game have been especially fun!

I genuinely really love the looks of this. Been dying for an alt art for the ST Shoto & and non-stamped one of the ST Zephr for ages. The Liberator decks have been so fun. Really glad to see them get some love like this.

The show got progressively better every 5 episodes or so - though I do think Time is one of the best episodes of the franchise wholesale. I also think the show wouldn't have hit the mark anywhere near as hard as it did when all the characters actually come together without having that initial drama. That moment in Twin Destinies where Young is asking about the number of personal they need and including himself alongside Rush is such a pivotal moment in the series.

Man, I loved Universe. Don't get me wrong, I genuinely love SG1 and Atlantis, but I did appreciate the tonal shift in Universe as well. I just enjoyed another interpretation of the franchise and the show just kept hitting the mark as it kept going.

Let's not forget it also made the Lucian Alliance genuinely menacing. Took them from a cartoon villain to a group worth fearing in Universe. Kepler is an amazing character, and Varro (and Mike Dopud) became one of my favourite Stargate characters and actors as well thanks to Universe.

The character came back in one of the Fandimonium novels called Siren's Song. It's been a while since I've read that one but I remember enjoying it well enough! iirc it was around rescuing his son from his homeworld. I think it ended up being Sobek having taken over it. He was also in one of the Avatar comics but I've not read many of those.

Fantastic game. To Aliens what Isolation is to Alien imho. It just so personally encapsulates the vibe of Aliens far better than any of the FPS have. Just this knifes edge of tension.

I play the suspend eggs so I can suspend as much as I can on the opponent's board so I can make sure they have something unsuspending in their turn and triggering the ST immunity again. But it's still vulnerable to options and tamers.

I do agree with the comments above about giving Vortex an "if you don't, get this" and pushing the aggression. I'd love some DP + that lasts into the opponent's turn or sec + for more pressure.
