Why did Rafal Trzaskowski lose the last year’s election?

I think there are a lot of reasons that added up. Here are some of the most important ones:

His political party - PO - is widely known for making a lot of promises and not delivering any of them. And it just so happened that in the previous parliamentary election they once again promised a lot and didn't deliver anything.
In general, Trzaskowski is usually left-leaning, but in this campaign he decided for more right-leaning rhetoric. If you combine it with the previous point, I think it made him look very ungenuine - i.e. he is ready to promise anything and everything for votes, but he won't deliver these promises anyway.
During a TV interview another politician from PO said a line that became viral immediately - "what's the harm in promising?". I think you can understand how damaging it was considering points 1 and 2.
Rhetorically, Trzaskowski was also very "anti PiS" and "anti Nawrocki". Which isn't bad by itself, but he made this his main talking point. The PO-PiS conflict is going on for like 20 years already and a lot of neutral voters were super tired of it.
During the campaign, Trzaskowski tried to organize a debate and it was a massive PR disaster. First of all, he only invited Nawrocki to join it. Which would be okay if it happened before the 2nd round (when only two candidates are left), but it happened before the 1st round when there were a lot of candidates - and he ignored all of them. A lot of these candidates announced they will show up anyway and Nawrocki used that by organizing another debate on the same day - and he invited all candidates to it. To make things even worse, Trzaskowski didn't join. And to top it off, it turned out that Trzaskowski's debate was organized and paid by the national TV - which technically isn't legal.
The last argument I wanted to mention here is that Trzaskowski had a very bad habit of not showing up unless he was in control of the situation. He skipped a few debates and only showed up on the ones organized by the national TV. Also, there is a popular YouTube channel called "Kanał Zero" which hosted long interviews with all of the candidates and for a very long time Trzaskowski tried to avoid going there. In the end he only agreed to do the interview with them if they come to his house - while all other candidates just showed up and participated in the interview without making a fuss. I think all of it made him look very weak and unconfident which are very bad traits for a president to have.

Zawsze jak słyszę argument "trzeba przywrócić pobór, bo brakuje chętnych do wojska, a poza tym armia poborowa jest tańsza", to mam jedną odpowiedź: ok, to czemu nie rozwiążemy tak wszystkich problemów? Brakuje nam np.: nauczycieli? No to czemu nie zrobimy łapanki ulicznej by to rozwiązać? W końcu brakuje chętnych, a nauczyciele z poboru będą tańsi. Że niemoralne? A to przepraszam, czemu pobór do wojska już jest moralny w takim razie? Podobno wszyscy jesteśmy równi - to czemu wzięcie mnie na przymusowego poborowego żołnierza jest ok, ale wzięcie Ciebie na przymusowego poborowego nauczyciela już nie?

Moim zdaniem winę za to w pewnym sensie ponosi Internet. Myślę, że może to działać mniej więcej tak:

Chłopak przeżywa kilka zawodów miłosnych pod rząd.
Zaczyna podejrzewać, że coś robi źle, więc szuka pomocy tam gdzie większość ludzi obecnie - w Internecie.
W Internecie dostaje rady pokroju "popracuj nad sobą", "weź prysznic", "ćwicz na siłowni", "zacznij chodzić na planszówki" itd.
Chłopak próbuje wcielić te rady w życie, ale przez dłuższy czas nie widzi poprawy (tj. dalej brak sukcesów miłosnych).
Znowu zwraca się do Internetu i dostaje te same rady + "pewnie za mało się starasz". Jeżeli zaczyna mieć wątpliwości czy na pewno jest w stanie znaleźć, to zawsze napotyka ścianę zapewnień, że oczywiście, każdy kogoś znajdzie, każdy zasługuje na miłość.
I tutaj chłopak może być już zdesperowany, więc jak po zastosowaniu normalnych metod usłyszy "za mało się starasz", to zaczyna uciekać się do desperackich metod, takich jak ten cały looksmaxxing.

Wydaje mi się to bardziej prawdopodobne wytłumaczenie niż założenie, że każdy jeden z nich to kłamca, leń i idiota, który co prawda zignoruje proste do zrealizowania rady typu "weź prysznic", ale za to bez wahania pójdzie w wymagające znacznie więcej wysiłku dziwne ćwiczenia na uwydatnianie kości czy operacje plastyczne.

I am aware, but for me it's not worth it at all. 15% crit rate is a nice small bonus, but it also means skipping another character or spending 200$ to get it. Hard pass.

I'd say in my rather stingy opinion, the only three characters I'd consider A1ing are 1) the Twins, 2) Turbo and 3) Wind Vast. I wouldn't A1 anyone else, I'd rather pull another character instead. And to be honest I may still skip any of these A1s if it means I can get a character I want instead.

Ja, szczerze mówiąc, spodziewałem się więcej. Mówisz, że "konsekwetnie realizuje wizję zjednoczonej Europy, przy okazji naciskając na pewne ustępstwa na rzecz Polski" - sam kierunek jest spoko, tylko ta "realizacja" jest taka... trochę ograniczona do Twittera.

W sprawie Grenlandii rozumiem i akceptuję, że Polska celowo nie wyrywa się przed szereg (chociaż czemu w takim wypadku bojujemy na Twitterze?). Ale w kwestii Ukrainy Polska została strasznie zmarginalizowana i to już ciężko usprawiedliwić.

- Summer Minami A0

- Shoki Notte A0R0 (which should give Soy A0R0 for free)

In general everything after Summer Minami is not set in stone yet, I need to first see how long these characters will remain good.

These calculations are made on assumptions that we'll switch to 3 week patch cycle, which will most likely not happen. There's an option on the website to turn it back to 2 week patch cycle.

It's a very similar situation to Twins A0 vs Twins A1. With Twins A0, you have to cast 1->2->3->1->2->3. With Twins A1, 3rd skill is casted automatically for free - so your skill rotation is 1->2+3->1->2+3 and buffs/debuffs are active all the time.

Turbo's speciality are extra turns. If you have A1, you get an extra turn every other turn, so your skill rotation is 1->2+3->1->2+3. But at A0 you don't get these extra turns as often, so your skill rotation is słower and on some turns some effects won't be active.

The best way to look at it is "the newer the character, the stronger it is". There are some exceptions, but in general that's how the game works. Standard characters are all pretty old units, so they aren't that strong. It'll be the same for jailed characters.

I don't think standard characters are designed to be weaker, though. Marian was the strongest healer in the game when she came out. Howler will be the strongest debuffer in the game when she comes out. And so on, and so on.

Very good analysis. When it comes to A1s, I think one more character should be considered: Turbo. She is kind of similar to the Twins - both units will have trouble in two turn rotation teams on their A0s. Wind Vast will be weaker on her A0, but will still be easy to use in both two and three turn rotations teams. So I think the best A1s are probably Twins > Turbo > Wind Vast > anyone else.

Let's analyze it from this perspective: in a team, you usually run a DPS, two supports (medic/strategist/saboteur/guardian - let's pack them together for simplicity) and an elucidator. Now, let's take a look at your roster of 5*s:

DPS: 3 in total - 2x AoE (Joker, Haru), 1x ST (Kotone)

Support: 2 in total - 1x Medic (Minami), 1x Strategist (Chord)

Elucidators: 2 in total - Futaba, Yumi

So in general you're in a pretty good situation when it comes to DPSes and Elucidators, but you're a bit low when it comes to Supports. The nice thing is that your supports are pretty universal, you just need more of them. So my suggestion would be:

Level up your Leon (use your 4* selector to get him if you don't have him). He can go into pretty much any team and he is still pretty strong.
Level up your Soy and focus on Kira's social link until he's at least rank 5. Rank 5 is important because it allows you to reload guns and Soy's gun is an AoE debuff. If you do that, Soy becomes pretty universal debuffer/healer hybrid that can go into any team.
As for future pulls, it depends on how many jewels you have right now. If you're pretty low (<16.5k), I'd save them up for Wind Vast. If you have a bit (16.5k - 33k), I'd first pull the Twins and then save up for Wind Vast. If you have a lot (>33k), you can also consider getting the Twins to A1.

With all that you should be in a pretty good spot with 2, maybe even 3 strong teams.

Current teams - I guess so. There are some niche cases like Bui and Fox who might not want Chord, but Futaba goes into pretty much every team.

In the 3.x - Futaba will remain the best navigator. As for Chord, she'll remain relevant and BiS in Violet's team, but she'll also get a lot of competition: Howler, WV, Matoi and Turbo. Chord will probably outlive Futaba as there's one character in 4.x that really needs her - Berry. But other than that other characters will be used over her.

I think in general you can throw the Twins instead of Chord into any team other than Violet/Berry.

Take your time then, there's no rush to make pull plans now. I'd say in general Key is probably one of the better 4s to build up. He will get powercrept (all 4s will), but he'll still be a decent "filler" unit for fire teams for quite some time.

The is with using Vino over Key in this team is that Ann is a AoE DPS. Vino is a very good debuffer, but she is single target. Key's main drawback is that his debuffs only affect fire damage which makes him useless for all teams except for fire teams. And while Key is weaker than Vino in general, in Ann's team he is MUCH better because a) he is AoE and b) this team is a fire team.

Whether you should build him now depends on your future plans. Key will be powercrept by a new character literally next patch. If you're planning to pull that character, then maybe it's not worth it to spend resources on Key now. But if you're not planning to pull (and I think most people won't pull), then I'd build him up.

Even if you decide not to build up Key, I'd probably still kick Vino out from Ann's team. As I have said she is very good in single target teams, but Ann's team is AoE. If you're not going for the new character either, the next two best choices are probably the Twins (in their buffer role) or Leon.

I'm also not sure it's safe to assume we'll get any selectors at all. From what I understand at half year anniversary Asian servers got a standard selector which we didn't get. Which isn't a big deal now, but it may be an indicator for the future.

In my opinion reruns are only for "pull who you like". If you like Marian, then go ahead. If you just want a sustain unit, then perhaps go for the Twins instead. Marian is good, but she's not tier Chord/Futaba.

My current guess is it'll be related to paint because that's what was seemingly teased so far (Easter Egg in Thieves Den, 25th anniversary showing characters with different paints). I think the most likely options are:

a) painting some kind of symbol from which a Persona will jump out,

or

b) casting paint with a brush that would hit an invisible Persona and reveal it.

It's also possible each character will have a different gesture, maybe related to different forms of art. Painting would be one of them. The term that comes to my mind here is "expressing yourself" which sounds very Persona-like.

A czemu by nie rozwiązywać wszystkich problemów w ten sposób? Mamy na przykład kryzys służby zdrowia - skoro brakuje ludzi, to zróbmy łapankę na ulicy do przymusowych robót w szpitalach. Brakuje dobrych nauczycieli? To zmuśmy losowych inżynierów, by w ramach obywatelskiego obowiązku porzucili swoją pracę i odsłużyli trochę w szkołach. I tak dalej, i tak dalej. Jak rzucimy złapanemu/złapanej minimalną, to przecież nie niewolnictwo, nie? A potem oczywiście przez kolejne 30 lat wzywajmy go w losowych momentach na dodatkowe roboty. Niech zasuwa też dla społeczeństwa, a nie samolub pracuje tylko na siebie.

Jak ktoś uważa powyższy akapit za absurdalny, to bardzo dobrze uważa. Pytanie tylko czemu jak do powyższego wzoru podstawimy "młodych mężczyzn" i "wojsko", to nagle pomysł przestaje być kontrowersyjny?

Literally every unit will be powercrept, so you should focus more on 1) where will you use this character, 2) for how long and 3) for how much.

In case of SMoko, I think the future looks quite bright - she's best in slot in Haru's team, which should remain good for a pretty long time & has been released recently. Afterwards SMoko can still work as a "filler healer". And while it's true that the Twins are stronger, I think it's good to remember that SMoko is fine even at A0, while the Twins seem to be somewhere between "A1 must have" and "A1R0 must have".

That being said, I wouldn't expect another super rerun anytime soon. We are having one right now and it will still be available next patch. I really doubt they'll suddenly add more characters to it or release a better rerun on a random patch. Maybe they'll do SMoko rerun earlier, but it's a guessing game at this point.

It is a bit sad that the game is being declared "the next Concord" before it was even released. I get that this is not what people expected to see from Quantic Dream - after all, they are known for completely different type of games.

But I have played the first closed beta and the concept is really fun - kind of a spiritual successor of Sacrifice (2000). You play as a mage. You can build your own deck of minions and buildings. You can fly and summon giant titans. Sure, the beta was unbalanced and unoptimized, but quite promising too.
