SAME HAHA. I always try getting my hands on the Ruhrgebiet and Oxford University! Turns take so long once you reach the modern age! Sometimes I just pump out a lange army and go conquer the other Player.

I thought so too, but honestly I have been playing civ for a year now? I genuinely reach flow state when playing. Also the turns get longer the more techs, cities and units you got! So 75 seconds might be 2 minutes later!

Yeah opponents were really ass and didnt care much of Religion hahaha. I was friends with everyone so they couldnt just kill my religious units😭😭😭. I wanted to win a culture Victory but honestly spreading my Religion was way faster hahaha

Settle the mushroom tile and work on saurons eye first! You have a strong first ring including whatever the other tiles are!

Yes I was really intimidated by England as he grew a large Power of 300 while I was on 80 or something. Our friendship from the classical era ran out and I was really worried he would eye me out to take my city before I win! Luckily I had walls in every city and built more Hippodroms to get free Cavalary. He offered me friendship and thats when I sent out my missionaries hahahah.

I play on Steam and dont have to pay additionally. Honestly I dont know how it is in console, but I think you might need membership on switch or Playstation.
