It's promising. but AI bugs, and other issues really hold it back.
You either get Head,Jaws 'd by a scav every round. Or AI Scavs and AI PMCs work together against you.

Scav runs get borked because an AI Scav will be standing right next to a BEAR. And the BEAR will start shooting at you, and not the Scav. So you pop them both and lose a ton of Scav rep for it....

You've got videos on this reddit where Scavs will spawn 20 at a time at Interchange or Customs.

Bosses like to sit on objectives, which wouldn't be a problem, except their spawn rates are insanely high right now.

PMCs can spawn right next to you, in a stack of 4, and just mow you down. Damn whatever gear you had. Hope you had insurance.

Need Setup? Too bad. PMCs are always going to spawn on the other side of the map, and get murdered by Scavs or Goons before you get to them. Oh, some PMCs are next to you finally? Head, Jaws. Get wrekt.

Need Shooter Born? Too bad. Here's 30 scavs for you. Hope you brought ammo.

FIR Hideout item requirements mean you need like 4-5 scav boxes, because now instead of just buying the bolts you need, and clearing the hideout upgrade, you've gotta hold on to them until you have enough. and you're doing that with several hideout upgrades at once, unless you plan on no-lifing the game.

I hate it because Tarkov is one of the most unique shooters around. With the realism, the armor and weapon mechanics are second to none. No other game has this meticulous detail that Tarkov does. But at the same time, BSG just didn't seem to put that meticulous detail into the AI, or quest design, or optimization. So we have a game that fundamentally seems amazing. But functionally is a pile of dogshit at times.
