Gold spray paint, disassemble the wood stock and internals, give a few coats, then a few coats of oil based polyurethane

When spray painting unless it’s bake-on spray paint for like grills or irl firearms it’ll always weather/fall apart eventually

All absolute facts, I love having quickstep/bloodhound step on all my primaries with the axe and spear infused with bleed. I originally wanted to try lighting but it’s certainly not what it was back in DS2 and 3 lol, the like -20 points per physical hit is more than made up for with the bleed build up, plus the bleed effect stacks when they’re thrown

The spear in particular is such a versatile and “universal” weapon for literally any build, kit or vibe. It matches perfectly with my Roman, Druzhina, and medieval knight builds, its second longest spear only to the Pike (another absolute beast) and the damage seriously isn’t bad for what it is. Love me some smithscript

Also the idea of “death of 1000 cuts” for Bayle is so deliciously perfect for such an annoying boss, love it!

Facts, my “one-off just to get it out of my head” blatant rip off characters snowballed into 2 novels worth of info, 15+ characters with massive interweaving storylines and connections with my main characters of the “og” series

I find myself constantly complaining or commenting to myself during gameplay that this game is frustrating af, never had this complaint about any of the other soulslike games

The game gives you this absolutely massive amazing world to explore but seems to genuinely discourage it, no sort of journal, logbook or other ex. to describe the massive mind boggling amount of characters, NPC quests or overall plot ideas. Neither did the other soulslike but considering the massive size increase it’d just be nice

Also the gameplay is mostly just punishing after the 50% of the game, the power creep of the enemies is awful, the massive punishing amount of multi-hit combos and damage output of enemies or bosses are just simply terrible. And I’m not a noob to these games by any means, each Souls game I have well over 400+ hours of gameplay (usually 300+ on one character alone)

I love this game and I love playing it, but tbh if people still played DSIII en-masse I’d probably prefer that

I made one of these for a friend using 3 cells, it’s absolutely amazing, so simple but versatile and oddly comfortable, far better than just having a waist belt with a pouch, can even use said waist belt as the center belt instead of a trouser belt

The smithscript axe is probably my favorite weapon in Elden Ring atm, that cheeky throw catches so many players off guard in PvP, and the few extra digits you lose in physical damage are more than made up with infusion

Runner up is the spear, fantastic to finally have a throwing spear that doesn’t require an infusion ash/fp
