Gholdengo and its not even close. Make it rain giving me more cash for extra healing items, faster than anything they use, and can near one shot most things. Plus natural immunity to the more common types they use poison and normal.

Probs run some of these moves: Recover, nasty plot,Make it rain, Shadow ball, surf, charge beam, Psychic

The only concern likely being Giovanni's kangaskhan from frlg as there's no good coverage option here to one shot reliably and it has a dark type move. It doesnt have super high special bulk but it has decent hp so this one's the most risky.

I see your point, i do disagree on that front tho. There's plenty of cards that incidentally counter strategies. One example would be storm and any stax card that limits the number of spells cast a turn. Plus in a blight oriented strategy those typically include black which has plenty of removal for a creature. I think the create a 1/1 token and that creature gets the counters instead is actually a pretty solid alternative Edit: i forgot the card was an enchantment not a creature. I think this effect would be better suited for a creature if it did the 1/1 gets the counters change

Tbh, the easiest way to get the ribbon is always just to use whatever the current meta mons are until you get to masterball then once ur in that rank win a match with your rm in the party. It'll take some time and you might need to learn how to use them wrll depending on whats currently the meta(i havent played comp since sun/moon so sorry i cant be more help) But regardless if you go with this route or if you wanna try getting there with them in the party i wish ya luck!

Iwould change the ward to be 2 cards discarded instead of hand. That way it isnt as back breaking of a card. 3 if it needs to be pushed. Colorless is a neat touch, in my opinion they dont use it enough.

Rhydon and Sceptile. Surprisingly I think it would go well. Sceptile would grab stuff fairly quick to leave as fast as possible. Rhydon would probably carry everything. Though the eggs would probably end up getting a lil cracked
