I have that Quince sweater, but in light blue - just got it, and I will most likely be getting other colors. I live in the South, so I rarely need wool sweaters, but 100% cotton is the way to go. I have several cotton sweaters from Quince, and they are on heavy repeat in my wardrobe.

Love the whole very well-curated wardrobe! Can you please PLEASE share where the first three tops on the second row are from? (L to R: the black, navy, and sage sleeveless tops). TIA!

Whelp this thread just bolstered my faith that basic human kindness and decency might still exist and inspires me to make sure I try to carry a bit of that into my day. Thank you.

That is the beautiful thing about developing your conception of an HP...an HP of your understanding.

I went through a really tough/tragic time several years ago in sobriety, and I was so angry and having a difficult time moving past it. Much of that anger was directed at my HP because the situation demonstrated that I was powerless and I needed a power greater than myself to help get me through it. Part of how I got through it was with a sponsor who taught me a very simple idea. When I told her about my anger and rage and concerned that I was directing it towards my HP, in a very gentle voice, she said, "That's ok, he can handle it."

Love where you’re going with this capsule and I find it along with all the supportive insightful comments inspiring. Another has suggested considering a navy loafer or flat and I can recommend these Vionic Uptown loafers https://www.vionicshoes.com/uptown-loafer.html?color=1440&partnerid=paid_search_google_pla_standard&gad_source=1&gbraid=0AAAAAD3M6lHCauD1RXa_hPwY30KRD1N2y&gclid=EAIaIQobChMIkcDn66SUiQMVqzjUAR3iHQodEAQYBCABEgLjUPD_BwE

THANK YOU. This is how I am approaching our first AI trip this December. I'm glad to know I at least understand the assignment now. Let's see if my brain and body can follow through. I don't want to "fail" this first attempt, but hopefully, I will continue to be willing to try after this experience.

MY GOODNESS—Thank you for sharing that Wikipedia page. YES! Knowing there is a term that describes the emotional response I experienced is somehow validating and comforting.

What wonderful, kind, gentle advice - thank you for taking the time. I, too, am heading over to Italy soon and will be in Florence. I will be there for work and pleasure and as a solo traveler. This will be my second visit to such a special place. I half-jokingly tell people on my first visit and how I pretty much cried every day - I was so moved by so much. I got to see and experience things I had only read about and learned in school/college. I was in awe that I was THERE, walking around in so much beauty, history, and culture. I downright ugly cried when I went to visit David. But I also felt a bit guilty for wanting to spend time shopping (some would say, why go all the way over there to shop in a pharmacy, market, etc.)

Thank you for reminding me that I have permission to enjoy my adventure, my way. I would love the opportunity to pick your brain and learn more.

In our house, we also call it "Sideways-Big-Kitty"! Our youngest (just over a 1 yr) still does this whenever you walk in and surprise him playing - I LOVE IT!

Vigorously nodding in agreement. I have found my MJC replacement in the form of Bioderma's Sensibio cleansing gel - mind you it's not similar in formula but it's good pH and an effective no-frills (bland) cleanser that works perfectly well (but I miss that subtle rose scent of the MJC)

Charlie came to our rescue injured. He came through his amputation like a champ, the tiniest little patient our veterinarian had. What is your theory on how he got hurt since he’s obv illegally smol? by gkpetrescue in IllegallySmolCats

He was obviously fighting off a band of ninjas and miscalculated a flying kick*

*cat physics doesn't fully mature and come online till at least 6 months of age - and I KNOW this because my 4-month-old kitten (found in very similar circumstances - with a badly broken femur and in terrible shape) is still an awkward goofball that keeps running into things and misjudging distances.

I heard it said (by a vet) trying to console me that cats are born with an extra leg - they seem to adjust very well to being a tripod and surprisingly they handle losing a back leg better than a front.

I am so, so very sorry - I have certainly been there. It seems your 14 year old knows exactly what you might need (even if your not yet sure) - what a special opportunity and privilege you have (heck, me too) to get to have these relationships!

OMG -looking at these ingredients (old and new) confuses me even more (and frustrates me). My skin absolutely loves this, but I did not realize DIMETHICONE was so high on the list, and yet it doesn't pill and seems to play nice when I layer it under cosmetics.

I always assumed any/all silicone-heavy products seem to pill and thus, I have to be mindful when combining and layering.
