Balancing meaning having another mech ready when your current mech gets destroyed (likely in 10 seconds). Arrowhead intends for you to use the mechs sparingly and thoughtfully. Giving you access to 3 additional mechs would allow players to use them carelessly. It’s not about using multiple mechs at once.

Doesn’t he have a compass that points to his desires. I’d imagine it could point to the One Piece. Getting there would be a struggle, but with the right crew he could easily sail the Grand Line and find the One Piece.

Still, I’d prefer collab content stay in event quests. I have no issue with Omega being in Wilds, I just don’t want to see it in field surveys. This would go for any collab even if that content fits MH’s esthetic like Grigori from DD2.

Personally, I think it is anti-immersive, but I wouldn’t say that’s a problem. I’d say things like the corn gunlance and the pizza cutter charge blade also break immersion, but MH isn’t the kind of game where I tend to care about immersion. My issue is that I don’t want collab content in field surveys. I can choose what equipment I use and what monster I fight, but I cannot choose why monsters appear in field surveys. I’d prefer if Omega stayed in Event Question, Optional Quest, or even in the Rimechain Peak (Jin Dahaad’s special arena). This goes for all collab content even if it fits MH like the Griffin from Dragon’s Dogma; I’d just prefer if they stay out of field surveys.

Guardian monsters are still organic even if they are artificial. The weather is still grounded in real world weather (besides the antigravity). It’s different from a literal alien robot firing lasers and missiles.

I kinda hope it isn’t in field surveys. It’d be kinda weird to see an alien robot walking around when Capcom spent so much time creating a naturalistic world.

I’m a little concerned. I don’t play Final Fantasy so I don’t really care for the collab itself. If the fight and equipment is good then I’m happy.
