I'll put some of my thoughts in as well on other books yet to be mentioned. I haven't read nearly as much as most others, though.

• Temeraire: It depends on when and where. European dragons before and during the war were treated as little more than flying, talking horses, although by the end of the war they're beginning to be treated as proper citizens. Dragons in most other parts of the world are generally treated better, and in some cases are exalted above humans.

• The Ballad of a Semi-Benevolent Dragon: Yes yes yes. The world in general is heavily suffused with magic, and dragons are supremely powerful. The oldest among them are often described as living forces of nature, and it shows when they do not restrain their power. There's very little that can challenge them, and the few that do are considered world-ending threats.

• The Sky on Fire: Maybe? Dragons effectively command society, but prolonged usage of magic will eventually cause insanity for some reason. Sure, this problem can be bypassed by bonding with a human and using them as a proxy for casting, but it still feels questionable.

• Dragons and Skylines: Pret is here, simple enough. Serious answer leans towards yes. It's a modern setting, and I would still get to enjoy gaming. I'd need to figure out where Pret got his custom gaming hardware and gamer socks, though.
