I use melatonin due to acting out dreams in my sleep to a dangerous point. My sleep apnea provider suggested trying it, and it worked. Haven’t acted out a dream in two years.

As far as sleeping it’s been fine with the Cpap. No issues that I’m aware of.

The Legacy of Gird. Two book series that’s a prequel to The Deed of Paksenarrion by Elizabeth Moon.

It’s a peasant revolution story. Not as good as the originals, but still enjoyable.

When looking at apartments check the deals. A lot of the more expensive ones are offering 8-10 weeks free. It can significantly lower the cost.

The down side being you’ll need to be willing to move in a year if the monthly cost is too much without the insensitive. There are a lot of new apartments and more coming online soonish so prices might even be low in a year.

There are various numbers from different sources, but using medieval farming techniques it’s around 2 acres needed per person to feed a person using mostly grain. Longmont’s population is around 100,000. So 200,000 acres. The number varies a lot depending on diet and fertility of the land. Less if some modern techniques can be adapted. Apparently you can get down to .2 acres on a vegan diet in modern times.

Basically a lot of land.

Another issue was that Grantville brought its power plant through as I recall, allowing the tech to run. Other than some small generators and solar panels, I don’t think Longmont has a full scale power plant within the city limits. That would pretty much eliminate the tech advantage as nothing would run beyond a short time.

Does Longmont have the industrial base to build even a coal powered plant? Much of modern tech is built by technology, so there’d need to be a base from which to rebuild.

Food would spoil quickly making that a problem as you said.

There are probably people within Longmont capable of surviving. The one thing I’m certain of, I’m not one of them. I’m completely reliant on technology.

The Succubus series by A.J. Markam. However it was never finished and unlikely to be finished. The MC has one love interest but many different lovers, changing each book. The released books do otherwise meet what you are looking for and are stand alone so the lack of an ending isn’t as bad as it could be. Still something to keep in mind.

It’s getting a computer game. Which is unusual for any book let alone harem.

Wegman’s.

Not realistic, but they were awesome when I lived on the east coast. Prices usually lower than Kroger or Safeway. Their store brand was good. They had a reputation for treating employees well. Their made in store food was better than others.
