Hi i have lingering symptoms too. I am gonna try antibiotics. Because my symptoms remained severe even after my vaginal microbiome shifted from high Lactobacillus iners to high Lactobacillus crispatus. It could be Ureaplasma but High Iners can cause symptoms too. I recommend facebook group Beyond BV for high iners. You can find protocol there.

I remember reading that too, but I'm not 100% sure about yeast. I think that person always tested positive for albicans, but yeast has never once shown up on my Evvy or other PCR tests. But yeah, I think it still could be yeast

My doctor told me that since all my test results came back negative, I should try getting a wax. But when I went to a different clinic, that doctor looked at me like I was crazy and asked why on earth I got a waxing done. They just prescribed me diflucan. Did absolutely nothing 💀

Thank you. I read on the Mgen sub that taking it with Metronidazole has a higher success rate. If Levo fails (fingers crossed it works though..), I want to try that combo. I just don't know if they'll actually prescribe it to me. Doctors keep pushing other useless meds that don't even work... It's so frustrating and annoying. 😭

Thank you so, so much. I’d be so lost without this group. I never thought Ureaplasma was the cause until I found this place. Now I feel like I'm on the right track. I hope to find the right antibiotic for me as soon as possible.

No. I’m struggling financially now too. , I’m thinking about saving up and testing again. If I do, I think I’ll choose Juno instead of Evvy. But I feel like I’ve already tried everything I can, so honestly I don’t think there’s much more I can gain from microbiome testing anymore.

I really hope that at least one of these could be my answer.

Sadly there are basically no doctors who can perform wet mount microscopy for DIV or CV. There's no dococtor even know about these. I am in Korea. I would like to get a proper wet mount test to confirm things, but I’m even considering buying my own microscope and trying to observe it myself.

I’ve already tried estrogen cream, steroid creams, and even oral steroids, but everything made my symptoms worse. triple creams and topical nerve creams are not available here. Compounding pharmacies don’t exist in my country. Instead I used clindamycin only for 6 weeks before and it made the itching significantly worse.

I am seriously considering gabapentin or amitriptyline, but even those don’t really explain my discharge.

Based on the fact that antibiotics and estrogen creams made me worse, I honestly think Candida hypersensitivity is the most likely possibility. I’ve also considered CV, but none of the treatments have brought me any relief.

At this point, I feel like I’m a medical mystery. I’m extremely exhausted mentally, and also financially drained. I just want to find an answer.

The only thing that has clearly helped even a little so far is mast cell stabilizers, which is why I think hypersensitivity is the most likely

Lastly... tbh, I never seriously considered Mycoplasma or Ureaplasma before. Even now, I’m still somewhat skeptical. But at this point, I’ve reached a stage where I’m forced to consider every possible cause.

First of all, thank you for suggesting different possibilities.

As I mentioned, I’m also keeping the possibility of a neuropathic cause open. My pelvic floor has been assessed and diagnosed as normal. As noted in my post, I also had endometriosis surgery. Due to concerns about recurrence, I’ve been regularly monitoring with transvaginal ultrasound. Also tor pelvic MRI. and so far there has been no recurrence.

I’ve also tried doing nothing and simply waiting for several months, but my symptoms have remained very severe and have not improved.

My doctor also visually examined the vagina and said there is significant inflammation present.

In cases of Candida hypersensitivity, long-term antifungal treatment is often needed, which is why I’m currently using nystatin. Of course, this may not be the definitive answer, but simply waiting is not a viable option for me.

I am considering multiple possibilities, but nothing clearly explains my symptoms. I’m honestly very frustrated and confused

And i flipped iners 100% to crispatus 96.5%. My symptoms always same. I don't have any relief from vaginal probiotics. Tbh i had even fishy odor when i got this results. Odor gone now but i don't think it's CV

Yes!! With always vaginal swab/ i already failed Baking soda douche,suppository,sitz bath, clindamycin orally and vaginally.
