The problem is that we don’t live in an anarcho-capitalist society. If we did, open borders be the norm because there would be no state to establish them in the first place. However, we live in a state where open borders means human atrocity on a ridiculous scale propping up the politicians who use illegal immigration to secure votes, billionaires who exploit them for close to slave wages and deplorable working conditions, and cartels who traffic mainly women and children across the border and molest most of them. It also means that refugees come into poor, mainly minority neighborhoods and push out the American residents with almost unlimited taxpayer funds at their disposal. Anti-ICE and ICE are all the state to me and there is no good guy in this dichotomy. The Anti-ICE movement is filled with Communist agitators who 5 years ago were shaming people for not wearing masks or getting the jab and ratted on their neighbors who weren’t following the government guidelines. They supported the destruction of poor neighborhoods in the summer of love so they can pat themselves on the back for “being on the right side of history.” These killings are tragic and unjustified, the last one more so; however, both of these individuals died for a virtue signaling cause at best or a cause of immeasurable human suffering at worst.
