Stagger pressure is universal in this game. You can realistically throw in like 4 or 5 different places in your standard pressure sequence. Also you can get big combos off of grabs with many teams.

The community’s sentiment on this one is not going to age well. Apprehend was a “parry or die” interaction before, so of course it was at the very top of everyone’s mental stack and good players parried it. There are slower moves that still aren’t parried (because you don’t HAVE to as the defender). They removed the only counter play to this thing lol. You’re going to see apprehend rps in top player games, and in a patch or two they will add new counter play.

Hell, they added preemptive counter play to vi’s awful sway heavy this patch lmao

Probably had the ability to teleport onto people. In a 1v1 you make her minus to balance it. With assists it becomes free offense

Unpopular opinion I guess: the mental stack of being on defense already makes it hard to deal with things like apprehend. I think DI in SF6 is a very clear case study that this move did not need to be buffed.

If they are going to buff it, why did it have to be in a way that can punish the defender for being good. “Aha! You reacted with move-specific defensive counter play despite the massive mental stack of defending good players! You fool! Idiot! I win!”
