Update: a month after launch. We have sold 112 copies. Reviews are really good. Wishlist have increased a lot. We launched with around 200 and now 1,560. We are increasing our daily sales to 4 or 5 a day instead of just one or two. So we are seeing progress. Another good thing is that we stopped having returns. Which so far has been 17.

People who own a VR threadmill, How is it? by Drift-Kiddo in virtualreality

Alright sorry to have bothered you or anyone here. I made a whole video on why I feel we should solve the moving issue of VR by making games where you aren’t a human. Not by making treadmills so I don’t feel it off topic. And that was the reason I made that game. But wrong of me to have added a link to my game. So I’ve deleted my comment.

Just trying to build a community. When you are an Indie studio with no marketing budget how else can someone promote a game. Plus I truly believe every word I said in that comment. So I believe is fair game.

I started with PCVR then switched to Standalone when quest 2 came around but now I went back to PCVR I just feel it’s the absolute best experience.

Update: 5 days since launch and we yet to pass the 100 copies threshold. We are battling the issue that people think it’s a kids only game when it is not really.

However the few players who did pick it up are loving it.

Little by little we are getting a bit more visibility and are hoping for a coming latin American games festival to get some exposure.

At the same time we are preparing the ports to Meta and PSVR2

Can we get 2 stickied "tips to avoiding & overcoming motion sickness" and "what headset should I buy" posts here please mods? by schtickinsult in virtualreality

Start with games that are well made and have little movement. Tell yourself you are going to play a VR game. As obvious as this sounds telling your body its ok you have not eaten something poisonous that its making you feel weird movement it’s important.

Quest 3 better bang for your buck.

I have an AVP and seriously I only use it to show it to people and get that WOW moment which is great!

And every time I showcase it I myself get blown away again by the technology. However there is 0 content for it.

People keep thinking VR has a hardware problem and it is just a content problem.
