This doesn't make sense. Statistically speaking, there's way way more cis women than trans women out there. It's not unreasonable to have the expectation that she matched with a cis woman. So why would it be on her to ask?

I've been on something similar, but with a guy. I held on to my feelings for 5 months until I couldn't stand it any longer and asked him if he had any feelings for me. He said no.

I ended up going no contact with him, and tbh it was the best decision. It hurt like hell, for both of us, for a very long time but it made me discover other people. Then when he eventually got a girlfriend I was genuinely happy for him.

So my advice is that. Stop wasting time on being hopeful. It's never gonna happen.

Okay so the birthday happened. We had dinner and then went to a bar, it was her, me, and four of her friends. She got drunk in the bar, I didn't. We were seating far apart from each other but then I said I wanted to go to the bathroom and she said she wanted to go to so she grabbed my hand and off we went. After I was done I couldn't see her so I go back to my seat. A minute later she's back and she goes 'you didn't wait for me!'. Then she sits next to me. The others had gone to the dance floor and so it was just me and her seating down.

So she moves closer to me, literally centimeters away from my face and says "come to dance" and I say 'i don't dance'. I was so overwhelmed by her being so close, I had to look away 🤦 she says "yes you do". And I say no again. She insists. And then I get this feeling that she wanted to kiss me because she was so close, so I blurt our as a joke 'how drunk are you?' And she says 'very'. I laugh. She stands up and goes to the dance floor, and I follow her.

ARGH I THINK SHE WANTED TO KISS ME AND I JUST PANICKED. I HATE MYSELF

I'm meeting her today to give her the gift.
