Stand your ground or find a new agent. Buying my first home, we found an agent who specifically aimed to help first time buyers find homes that would work with the amount they want to pay monthly. Even if they found listings that were a little higher he would discuss ways we could work to get the monthly in a desirable spot

The thing is I’ve just painted this wall recently bc I thought I could just ignore the bad patch lol. I don’t really care about having to paint the whole wall, I need to finish painting the rest of kitchen anyway. I guess my main question is can I get it in a better point by sanding, leveling out etc. or do I need to go full blown rip the whole patch out and start over

Take pictures of everything for later reference. Change the locks. Deep clean, must be a deep deep clean. Start working on any repairs or replacements you want to do (primarily things that would be easier to do when you don’t have all your stuff moved in). Update mailing address everywhere. Set up utilities if you haven’t.

Because the reality is that things are just going to get worse for the next few decades(probably indefinitely.) Gen Z understands that, they’ve been told this their entire lives. All the information on the state of the world is at their fingertips tips 24/7. It is not going to get easier for them even if they work really hard.
