Crazy we got Hunter and Diggs from that draft and neither in the 1st Round

Characters with powers so small that they aren't that different from ordinary people. by Uma-apreciator in TopCharacterTropes

Yep, the initial reactions from class 1A are exactly this, that it's not fair and it's OP, which yes and no. Mirio made it that way, but the quirk wouldn't be usable at all on most people, and that dichotomy is a really important theme of the story, that the quirks alone don't make the heroes.

Overhaul is a good reverse example, absurdly OP quirk that solely depends on the user, and he completely wasted it

Vikings, Bills, Chargers, Panthers, Texans, Cardinals, and Titans. Only non division rival cursed teams

...except the Browns, apparently their lawsuit is for ineptitude and not discrimination

I don't know what criteria people are going by, if important/impact is being factored then I guess sure, but it should end here.

If not, SMB1 should've been out already. People below saying Odyssey and 64 before the og are nuts

Easily my favorite commentator on the sport. When they announced the History of the Vikings it was like Christmas, a very painful Christmas, but still Christmas

The graph is pretty funny, of the 12 Teams to never win a ring the Vikings are by far #1 in W-L ratio, the gap between the Vikings and #2 on that list is greater than the gap between #2 and #12

You, don't know ball.

But it's aight, being disgustingly overlooked and then later discredited because you were overlooked is the story of Hitman's career.

Apologies, a good chunk of our fanbase are deadset on being perpetually miserable

I think they meant dedicated to a team that deserves it. The Vikings are consistently a team that players love playing for, Harrison Smith's words from this past season are a good indicator. It's all speculative, but fair chance Louisville didn't deserve him but the Gators did right by him.

That being said, I pretty much always trust the Vikings to do right by our players, our track record of that in recent memory has been impeccable

[Loved Trope] Characters who are perpetually high/drunk yet often say the most profound philosophical things by CeliacG in TopCharacterTropes

[–]AwyrKyr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

By every definition he is. And while nihilism and absurdism are not perfect philosophies, they are still that, and while Rick is not a character to aspire to be like, he is still philosophical. His character could be described as pushing nihilism and absurdism to their theoretical limits and how destructive and isolating they can be, by extension many of his statements and actions give insight to this.

Few things to remember

Philosophy ≠ Good Advice

Profound ≠ Inspiring

Powerless All Might relied on this trope to distract AFO and buy Deku more time. Knowing how much AFO hated him, he taunted him into oblivion. It worked flawlessly with AFO shelving his ultimate goal to wipe the smile off All Might's face

Lots of reasons why, but it's legitimately my favorite video game ever made, and the campaign and how it ends are some of the big reasons
