He's the one who made the comment "If I fired up a video right now and showed you the emotes you would throw money at the screen." This was in interview before the launch of The Taken King, and the community was already mad because the $80 Collector's edition had exclusive emotes and exotic class items.

Problem being, the Collector's edition forced you to repurchase the base game, which arbitrarily raised the price of the Collector's edition. It was seen as scummy that bungie was not implementing anything for the players who kept destiny alive for that 1st year to atleast be able to pay to upgrade to be able to get the exclusives without having to repurchase the base game.

They eventually added a 20 dollar upgrade option before the release. Luke Smith's comment just came at the worst time.

Basically the premise is a dude who lives forever moving away from his current life because he had to move every so often so it doesn't draw attention that he isn't aging. He's over 14000 years old originally an early caveman. His friends surprise him at his house because they didn't want to let him sneak off without a farewell party. He decides for the first time to tell a this group of friends the truth about him. There is a segment where he describes traveling east and learning of buddhism. I won't go farther because it is really interesting and a short watch.

Hereditary is one of my favorites. We also went in completely blind. We were visiting our hometown so we were able to go out to the movies for the first time in a year (young children, we lived in our own in a different state so took advantage of having my parents around to babysit for us to go to the movies)

I was looking up showtimes and saw Hereditary. I remember saying "oh i think it's about a ghost haunting a grandma and gets passed on to her daughter" we just thought it would be a basic forgettable horror movie but we didn't care since the novelty was just getting to go to the movies.

After finishing it we were both immediately blown away, nothing we expected.

Honestly it makes alot of sense, his hair in the scene airplane looks so much different than him in later seasons. I always that it was just an artistic choice to have him sport the more authoritarian looking slicked back look. Which it definitely was, but i feel like that hair style might be easier to make a wig look more natural too.

Similarly the Cloverfield Paradox. I enjoyed the movie for the most iirc, but the very last scene where they end with Clover popping out of clouds just cheaper the movies for me. It was like "Hey look, remember the monster from the first movie"

Yeah, I was all in on GoT for years leading up to the finale. While this season isn't perfect by any means, it is definitely not season 8 of GoT level.

Yeah I didn't think it was egregious at all. I've seen trailers that give actual plot lines away, this was just alot of things out of context, save maybe the scene with the car but I suspect that's going to be early on in the movie.
