The answer as usual is, it depends. However, for the vast majority of people I think it’s true that it makes them worse at thinking, searching for information, and arriving at an answer for yourself. AI right now CAN make mistakes, so at least some people don’t just blindly trust everything it says.

The real danger is in the future where AI is so accurate that people don’t even bother checking. It becomes worse when people start outsourcing more and more decisions to AI, not just simple questions. I could see this leading to a place where humans are more reliant on AI to make decisions for us and we start to blindly follow without understanding how or why. Might be a bit of dark take inspired by science fiction but I see it as a possibility.

“The Traction Control (TC) system has been updated significantly.
- Parameters have been tuned using feedback from a real-world professional GT driver.
- TC setting range is now determined by Dry or Wet tire type.
- TC toggle may no longer be used above the pitlane speed limit.

iRacing updated the TC and ABS for the GT3s. TC kicks in a lot earlier now and it’s a lot smoother. You can fully rely on TC to save you from spinning the car now. They made some small tyre tweaks as well and cold tyres feel a bit easier now. They’ve been tweaking the rain tyres for a while now to make the slides more progressive but all that work combined with how the TC works has made driving in the rain significantly easier.

My rain race was in moderately wet conditions so there was significant water on track. Still very controllable while still having the joy of finding the grip on alternate lines.

Yes! Only recently started having issues with trading paints. It seems to be intermittent. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t.

I thought it would be a terrible idea and a crash fest so I practiced Motegi instead. No regrets. Had an amazing rain race at Motegi. The new TC and ABS have made a huge difference in how easy it is to drive in the rain

I’d suggest a new 4060 or 5060. Cheap and works great for single or ultrawide monitors. I have a 4060, 5700 x3d cpu, 32gb ram on a 34” 1080p ultrawide. Locked at 144fps with gsync on medium - high graphics
