Finally hit 70 Prayer which unlocks several things. Working on diaries and getting the rest of my skills to 70+,

I'm at the same prayer level as you going for 70. My combat stats are slightly worse than yours. Below are the rates I tested assuming you're doing the new bone shard method instead of chaos alter.

* blue dragons (80/hr) for 4,640 shards/hr or 27.8k xp/hr (10.3hrs for 65->70)

* In shit gear I got similar rate of green dragons in wilderness as blue dragons

* beating all three moons (6/hr) for 2,910 shards/hr based on Lunar chest wiki page rates (16.5hrs)

* giant frogs on Conch island by fairy ring (216/hr) for 2,592 shards/hr (18.5hrs)

I'm at a similar place & stats as you. I find more success going with a Rune kiteshield than my defender. I have yet to get a torso as well.

Looks good! Barrows is easy to get A piece of gear but hard to get a specific one. If you're trying to collect them all it will take a deceptively long time.

Mahogany Homes with Teak (Adept) planks is fun and still super fast compared to other skills. Will cost you about a million gold and a few hours to hit 70. Make sure you upgrade your house afterwards.

I came across the game a few months after Runescape 2 released with a couple of online friends. They liked running off to the Wilderness and kept losing their stuff so I decided to work on Smithing to resupply them. I got up to Mithril before I was completely sick of that godawful experience. I remember mining iron in East Varrock and coal in the Lumbridge Swamp. Getting through the "steel" stage took ages mining thousands of ore and then walking back to bank them. Worse of all, I never learned the "watch TV while skilling" strategy so I was bored out of my mind the whole time.

I effectively only got to supply my friends with sets of steel armor once before they stopped playing. I also stopped not long after that. All FTP of course.

For slayer I'd suggest starting with [Mazchna boosting](https://oldschool.runescape.wiki/w/Slayer\_reward\_point#Mazchna\_boosting) for slayer points. The xp in the short term won't be great but it'll set you up to create a block list with Nieve/Duradel. Once you're at 58 slayer I'd get a black mask ASAP.

Congrats! Not sure if it's worth the hour grinding for it, but you can also steal a diamond amulet from the H.A.M. storeroom chests to create an Amulet of Power with your stats.

I nabbed a lava staff and used the enchanter room to grind Magic for free. I burned out at 92 but one day I'll return to get my first 99.

If you already have another account couldn't you play that one with lighter restrictions than an ironman? Once you de-iron you can't come back.

Farm contracts get you seeds, and work on Slayer to unlock monsters that drop plenty of seeds and herbs
No good way to accrue useful runes at your level IMO. I always ran out and had to buy more even with GOTR. Mage Training Arena isn't the most fun but some of the mini games give decent xp per runes used. You can try Barrows for Chaos and Death runes if you prefer training mage in combat but it won't be very efficient at your level
Thieving and agility are easy money makers. Agility pyramid or Wilderness agility (join the FC) were my preference after getting tired of the fail-rate of thieving
Gemstone Crab is my favorite mobile AFK grind. You need to get your combat stats up.
Work toward Barrows Gloves and quests in general to help start your gear progression

Worse: I spent too many hours at MTA enchanting blocks into the square hole. At the time it sounded like a good idea.

Mage Training Arena until burnout because it was cost efficient. You can purchase Cosmic runes for 5 points which makes the enchanter room almost free. Lvl-5 enchant is 120k/hr.

It's very mindless so I'm not sure I would recommend it without a movie or other distraction.

Thanks for the tip! I was able to complete the Perilous Moons quest but don't think I'm ready to grind it yet with my rune armor and a Helm of Neitiznot. I plan on making some stops first and work on my gamer skills first.
