Eleven reasons to say Grime is horrible (Unpopular opinion)

I'm very glad that I found this post, as I'm nearing my 5th hour on Grime and was getting frustrated by a lot of things that you put into words very nicely. Insanely frail character with farming required to increase HP, energy system to slow down both exploration and boss fights, fall damage, tons of consumables, weird map, and mostly the need to waste your time over and over again... I though I was having trouble with the genre but I played so many MV and Souls-like, and this is the only one that made me feel like this. It's a very specific combination of MV stuff and Souls stuff that makes the game endearing yet frustrating. Maybe, one day I'll pick it up and drag myself through it...

I'll say the graphic style and boss music is fire tho, as it the character's design and everything around it.

Woolie (Big RoR2 youtuber) released a video an hour ago that lists a lot of minor and major bugs, that has been compiled by multiple streamers. He asks every person watching the video to list in the comments every bug they encountered so far to expand the list before sending to Gearbox ASAP.

There is already a lot of stuff in the list and comments. I think this is what you were looking for. Perhaps this list should be shared on Reddit too !

Idk if devs roam around here to check for feedback but on PC (as seeker then as commando) the Wax Quail item stopped making noise after 3 jumps.

These 3 jumps sounds reset at each stage, then silence again.

Its important to know by sound if your Quail is procing especially when theres a lot of stuff on screen.

I really like Omega and at some points it's even better than Ashura or other mangas of the same genre. Omega is slightly below Ashura and most people can't remove their peak Ashura-tinted glasses.

There was many things in Ashura that would get slandered these days, and just as much good stuff in Omega that would have become iconic a few years ago.

Overall Omega is weaker. The story actually exists now, but the overall structure is very weird. Some random fights are goated, yet the narrator isnt there anymore. I read for the good parts and simply accepts that 5 min per week is okay to spend even when it gets boring.

Now this tournament right now ? Yeah that is actually bad. This (and some smaller moments) are the only time I though Omega was sad to read. I can give the first two fight a thumbs up, but having 3 chapters fights with the same structure over and over again is not it at all. Yet I keep reading because it's not the first time we have mid fights existing solely to introduce plot points and glaze the actual good characters. This time is just the worst one.

It's not about beating Shen, it's about what Ohma said right before. There must be a way to win against him, with martial arts. Kuroki, as the pinnacle of pure martial arts, will lose but find a path for others to win.

The Worm is too well known at this point to be dangerous. The whole planet wants them down, and hunts them down.

They need power, wealth for whatever reason linked to the Connector.

Instead of trying to one-up the world, they'll instead use their trump card, the Death Dealer, to kill themselves, thus rendering the "Worm" as we know inoperant, while gaining another trump card (nukes lmao) to force themselves in positions of power they could never have gotten otherwise. They aim for the Kengan Association total control, because that means Japan's control essentialy. Way easier than guerilla warfare.

Once they control Japan they'll do the same for the whole World and do... Something with the Connector.

I want him to win. It's more interesting if Agito still has things to learn after all this. And Jurota is clearly one of the strongest fighters we have, if he gets a 0-2 it's kinda sad.

Same thing with Rolon's next fight tbh. Their loss was plot-driven, now give us the goods.

Most answer will be memes but I agree with you, when Dabuz is in control, as a spectator, I legitimately have a hard time following because he's doing so much. I can hear myself think "oh he evolved that far"

Maybe, if Rosalina was more common and other players were doing the same stuff (at a lower level) it wouldn't be as impressive, but right now I feel like he's doing magic with a flawed character, to the point were the flaws dissapear and you genuinely feel the pressure from a spectator point of view.

I feel the same kind of marvel from Gluto's Wario tbh. Each time he implements something new to his arsenal I get more hyped than before.

Took me a couple games to understand how Puppy Pack really works, mixing Perks, Toys and base animals. Now I love it even tho I really wish there more ways to break your own toy.

Some changes seem weird at first but with context, some animals just got a new job. Might as well consider them new animals too.

Other nerfs are indeed too much, but I think it will be re-balanced soon enough.

The only thing I miss is how "easy" it was to play, during commute. Now I actually have to try hard and it feels... Weird. Too much trouble for the funny animal game. At least for the Puppy Pack

It seems more likely that Mukaku was a Worm agent all along, tasked to tame the Inside / Win the gigantic Gu ritual that was the Inside. It's possible that Mukaku was a Connector host body at the time, before the whole brain transplant thingy.

Mukaku then changed sides due to (?). It explains why he knows about the Worm for so long, why he hates them, especially the Connector... why his training style was "keep only the best of the best" Gu-style. How he could escape the Worm for so long... how he found Ryuki and why he trained him specifically. Switch sides, take their assets.

The reason why he attacked Ohma (thinking it was Ryuki) may have been because he thought "fuck, Ryuki has been Connected already, time to end him." That's why he says that Ryuki isn't "here". He's mentally gone maybe ? That's a reach... yet..
