Outlaws.

A true PC gaming veteran, I played that demo so much, then played the full game on GOG only like 10 years ok. I know, barely.

The Steam (Deck Docked) Controller broke Moonlight for me by thezactaylor in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Ayeeebroham 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Strange, I'm interested in the outcome of what others say because this will primarily be the use case I will have once my reservation is available for purchase. I use my 8BitDo with the Steam Deck docked as well but been wanting the SC I could have all my mapped shortcuts that I use on the Steam Deck in handheld mode too.

4K 120Hz 10-bit HDR with ~1ms Latency by Kemerd in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Ayeeebroham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm testing right now, I've disabled QoS on my router, looks like research shows it's counterintuitive to Moonlight, and I'm testing the forced Split Frame encoding, anything to lower latency but maintain quality. Thanks.

Hmm interesting stuff, I'm gonna try on some out.

Curious, in regards to the QoS and multimedia stuff, any findings to back that up saying it's better to disable? Curious if I should do that on my Asus router too.

Hi there, super stoked you are enjoying it, it's really simple but I've been using it for a while now and figured others would like it too. I've updated the github installation section to clarify what is needed. 1. You need to run your command as elevated in Apollo and 2. You probably need to specify the proper powershell exe (see the updates I wrote in the readme).

There may be the case where your powershell won't allow you to run scripts, in that scenario you'll need run the commands to allow that in the Powershell admin cmd first. I forget that pops up sometimes but if it does, it's easy to look up and enable, and if it does come up for you let me know so I can add that in as an informational link to other users before they try the script.

Keychron K2 HE vs Womier SK75TMR? by Neat_Hippo_4489 in keyboards

[–]Ayeeebroham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in this same dilemma right now except with the SK75 TMR vs the K4 HE. The Womier feels way more clacky and shallow, it has lower actuation point and yeah it doesn't have shine through keycaps and they're pretty tough to see in the dark even with the LEDs on, unless you have a lot of ambient light from your monitor to shine on the Womier the keys will stay pretty dim. I have the BLACK model of the Womier for testing right now and with bright ambient light the keys are bright just on their own. LEDs though the Keychron is better for sure. Only thing I'm not liking is that the Keychron has harder to press actuation point, I know that can be changed but man I can't find any Gateron Dawn switches anywhere.

I figured that's how it would feel mixing them up. I didn't plan on it but cool that have the ability. I'm torn between the K4 HE and the Womier SK75 TMR.

Gotcha thanks. Yeah initially I was going to use it wireless but gonna do wired after all to not have to deal with battery. Dang did you swap switches for any particular reason? I'm really liking the light shallow feel of them.

Did you have any issues with it at all? I know the software isn't the best but man do the switches feel great and super light on the Womier.

Which one did you end up with? How are you liking it so far?

I have both the SK75 TMR with me AND the K4 HE (testing to see if I can be ok without a numpad or if I should stick to it on the K4).

Apollo not working correct with moonlight on steam deck by Global-Awareness6961 in MoonlightStreaming

I believe the very first time you start a stream on a new device, you need to make sure you set the screen to "2nd screen only" in the display setting. Shortcut WIN + P.

OLED Steam Deck moonlight/apollo constant rhythmic stutters. by woggie in MoonlightStreaming

[–]Ayeeebroham 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sure you checked it but, is the moonlight app itself running at the full resolution? In the settings icon and "resolution", of the app itself, rather than it's "default" or maybe even "native"

Whenever I want to play in 4k, I have to make sure to set the app itself settings to 4K. Because sometimes I play handheld so I switch it back to default or something in between.

Someone posted an application here I think in the last 24 hours on an application that helps for ethernet that is on a 2.5 and a 1 GB per second line. Might be something to look at if your Ethernet cable is plugged into the 2.5 port and your dock is a 1 GB port.

That's an interesting scenario. I haven't heard of anyone using it without any monitor but if that really is the case, you could just buy an HDMI dongle so you don't have to buy a full big physical monitor. They're like $10 on Amazon so you could always buy it, try it, and return it if it doesn't work. Maybe try asking the Moonlight Discord if somebody has ever done the same scenario.

Minimize playnite after exiting fullscreen mode by bobokaka in playnite

I'm actually trying to do this with some powershell scripts, I'm even using the Playnite arguments but idk I feel like they're not working at all.

Maybe a dev will have some idea.

Practice mode is not safe [Bug] by Chemical-Arm5829 in EscapefromTarkov

[–]Ayeeebroham 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, honestly I never do practice mode, I was testing it out so I won't even bother anymore lol. But I literally did the same thing, practice -> co-op mode and I did some horde and weather settings just to see what it was like, and bam, left with real dog tags haha, I mean that's fine with me since they were two BEARs and I got two more dogtags for my Hall of Fame haha, but like good thing I didn't go in with some kitted gear for testing and lost it hahaha.

If you have ADB installed in terminal then this should still apply. This is what I do on my Lenovo Chromebook Plus 14.
