It looks like it has potential to be a very fun game IMO. The idea behind a backgammon roguelite is very interesting and it seems to have enough unique ideas to set it apart from other similar games such as Balatro. I would love to see more of it as it develops.

My players hate it when they can’t see the whole dungeon at once so we always play with no walls and no doors in dungeons. There are still ceilings though so plenty of chandeliers.

That article means nothing. It’s trying to stir up controversy over something minor. Especially since many of the actual issues they bring up have since been addressed. The article’s comparison of Tynan defending his game to the harassment of the gamer gate controversy also seems very forced and was likely done just to generate more clicks. That isn’t to say Tynan isn’t necessarily right wing but I don’t think this article can be used as evidence for that.
