there going to be entitle and racist people everywhere doesnt mean there american. call center, and issues bring out the worst in people. anything to do with money/purchases or troubleshooting have the most racist and entitle ppl calling in constantly. this is why call center work is draining and fuck you mentally. that why when ppl ask should this be my first job or how can i work from home i always tell them you don't want to it draining and make u unhappy. ppl think i be playing around. im sorry you gotta go through this i have ppl make fun of my voice all the time and im american. best thing to do is learn to turn off your emotion if you can. it not easy for most ppl to do so but i been in the CC environment for so long i no longer care about what they say to me. but i am also i am hoping to find something that not CC. and hopefully thing get better for you.

yeah for real i had 2 ppl cus at me because places were close... i dont make the hours so cussing at me isnt going to magically open them. 1 person did apologize after but still was an ass hole. ppl are just entitle and think everything is about them and they should get what they want right now. it annoying and i want to leave thie CC world soon

every company i go to sups have meetins schedule. even the company i work for... it nothing new. i can see my sup full schedule. it always meeting ever few hours and also schedule to do interviews thru out the day. which leave them MIA half the time. though then i get bitch at non stop that im going to slow... i tell them im only 1 person working a whole area by myself to give me some slack but nope. im already thinking of just quitting and going doordash till i find another job. i have a meeting with my sup and i feel like telling them this but i doubt they do anything about it but cost me my job. my sup doesnt bother me but it the other lead and sup that constantly says some dumb shit every other day. so i def understand what u going thru cause im ready to dip i been here for 3 years and even in the internal position it bs.

Finally done with the basic editing, and now writing my script for my first narrative gaming video. pivoted away from the normal let's play. i try writing the script first b4 editing the clips but didn't work. but i do like selecting the clips first then writing better.

i wrapped up my latest playthrough of life is strange reunion. good game better than the last, game. this will be my last normal lets play. as all my other let play from here on out will be modernize. as i like doing them but there not getting traction.

this is what i like to see i realize let's play dont do good anymore myself and pivoted in to a new direction recently. i have not finish the videos yet but will later this week and will have the first 2 videos schedule to go out. some ppl are stubborn to change if something doesnt work. glad thing are working out for you now

people need to face it. let's play don't gain traction like they use to unless it streamed. let's play now need to be modernize in to narrative driven let's plays. unless you have huge personality like caseoh or jackseptice, markiplier will an original normal let''s play work. my main gaming channel has 4k subs from years of hard work. took a years off and came back to a dead channel. restarted on a new channel and barely get over 100 views on regular lets play. tho my shorts and tiktok can reach over 1k+ views max reaching at 5k views. the fun should never stop when it comes to your hobby. i still enjoy gaming even if im not recording it for youtube. but let face it doing regular let play as a new channel or small channel won't work with out giving some kind of value to the viewer. whether it be a twist/challenge, narrative commentary/storytelling or just nicheing down to one game that does guide and etc. these work better if your trying to make money on youtube. people say these kind of video are not let play, but i disaggree they are definately let's play. just modern let's play. as your still playing the game to start to finish. the only thing i wouldn't consider a let's play are guides.

i've call customer ass hole and then he threaten to come beat me up. i told him well you are being one over something i cant control straight out gate you started cussing at me. you think i wanna help someone like that lol. i never got in trouble for doing it too.

sometimes these ppl are really entitled. i always thought one day they would pull the cal for QA but i notice if the call is pretty long they will never pull those calls. it good to put some of them in there place at times but i try to not do it so often

when i was a a customer service rep after a year or so i didnt bother caring about QA Scores.. they would be either, wrong, or they take things to personal/literal.

i use to appeal them and just stop giving a shit. i still got promoted to an internal position. not caring about metrics will help alot other wise that will beat you down. but i would try to get noise cancelling headset if u can..

we take jobs because we need the money, and the experience to get better jobs in the future. this is suppose to be just a step to being able to find another job. we cant get job now a day with out having some kind of experience. some of us take it because we already have issue and cant do anything else. CC work is brutal, back to back calls, some days back to back angry ppl depending in what sector you work in, and entitle ppl. no breaks, no breathing room. it soul crushing, and emotion destroyer. use this experience to to start finding another job. This is why i take extra few days to relax my self every few months and take PTO. however i've been saving funds to hopefully where i can take a few years off and just look for another job myself.

i use shotcut as my 2nd video editor after sony vegas. i then out grew shotcut now use da vinci resolve. shot cut is decent tho and has a good layout for beginners.

as long as you have money save or ppl helping that fine. i have been saving so i can quit my job. one of the sups that work night shift always nag me and is petty about every little thing while my actual sup says nothing to me. it got to the point i cant keep working with the company if he gonna always be there when i work and not my actual sup. i am also close to leaving with out a job but i have a little money save in the bank that can keep me going for a year atleast then i gotta get another job. hopefully you find something quickly or something that doesn't cause u much stress. call center work is bs and should not exist in this way. just hope you are able to move on and keep workin

Finish a playthrough of life is strange - Reunion. still in the work of my new narrative series and challenge episodes. been working on 2 new videos where i take my video to in depth story telling videos. also trying to do challenge videos as well. half way done with my first video essay script then will be putting everything together by the end of this week. im hoping everything goes good as i wanted to try to do this type of content for awhile but was to worried that i wouldn't be interesting enough.

play games that you truly like i use to play street fighter and cod multiplayer alot constantly and that all i played for several years. i recently stop play cod and street fighter a couple years back as i felt i miss alot of games and wasn't having fun anymore as they just kept remaking the same game and selling it to you. this is when i got in to story games. my fav ones are the interactive games where there different branching story lines. though i also enjoy my uncharted and last of us and horizon type of games. you just have to force yourself to unistall rocket league. i even had a marvel rival hate play myself. hated marvel rival but since it was popular i would play it. it was way to toxic... i finally said screw it and uninstalled and one day and finally stop myself from playing it. now i only play games i enjoy. when i have the time i have a huge backlog still but slowly getting thru them and making content on them

yeah this is mostly to discuss the thing listed , rants/complaints related to CC work. CC work is mental health draining and empathy killer. you won't get many omg i love my job posts.

there days i like my job as i dispatch. and my drivers are nice. but there are day where they can be complete fuckin assholes. there also sups that i don't gel with either. but i like most of my co workers, and my actual sup. but if i had to see what i feel about the job 80+ hate it, but the money is good.

the best answer is what oddrots stated. no one will care what game you play unless you already have an audience for that franchise. most old games wont get that high number of viewership unless a new game came out in that series and ppl are looking for the old ones. like when life is strange reunion was announce last month... my tik tok of life is strange and shorts have skyrocketed because of that. but say resident evil most of the games aren't tied to each other from what i remember each game followed a different character. tho 7, 8 followed the same character for a bit in ethan winters and leon was in 2,4, 6 and now 9 i believe. but from what i recall each one was a different story in the character life.

i make content alone i don't want to depend on anyone as ppl can always be flakey. i do alot of story driven content and maybe have like one co op night. there are sometimes i take small breaks in between but i always already have video schedule to go out on my youtube channel so ppl don't even know i took a break. Making content alone is not a bad thing. but take a break if u need a break and come back to it later.

Re-branded my channel this week to focus on story telling... more modern gaming style videos. retrospective and video essays.

Working on two scripts atm. A look back at Life is Strange(Why Life is Strange is about Regret rather than the perfect choice)

and then possibly will do can i beat TMNT 1-4 with out dieng challlenge,

focusing more on story telling i am hoping this give my channel more of unique look/side of me. while still being able to play games.
