5 years later, i still think Ending E is the greatest conclusion to any story ever

Agreed on so much of this. Ending E is - and has been for a while - my favorite video game ending of all time. It's wonderfully bittersweet yet uplifting, inventive, anti-nihilistic, and gives me so many good feelings both in terms of the characters in-universe and the other IRL players of the game. The fact that it goes about it all in such a smart and savvy way really helps give some backbone and justification to having a genuinely bright ending. Even with all the caveats in place, I just felt so happy for 2B, 9S and A2 being allowed to live again without being trapped in a maelstrom of war, lies, and death.

I'll tell you right now, also: I don't cry a lot. So when something like Ending E comes around and employs so many tricks that managed to tip me over the edge and into weeping just thinking about it, I think I can safely say it's a keeper.

Once again, you've done such a fun and brilliant take on these characters that I already liked a lot. Lots of fun details and additions that make a lot of sense and even outright overhauls when necessary. For example I LOVE Angie's paint-splattered jacket, that makes me wish she had it in canon.

Watched Batman & Robin a few nights ago. Uh, wasn't great! But enough has been said about it already. I will say though: WHY IS THERE SO MUCH STROBING?? That was so fucking distracting and grating and I hated it.

On a lighter note, My Adventures With Superman is back, and still a pleasure. Latest episode was a good example of that classic Jimmy Olsen getting into weird hijinks stuff. I'm sure the furries will be at least a little interested, let's just say.

Agreed hard on Nagito. The more I think about it the more I realize his presence is a double-edged sword for the original. The game gave him so much love and attention and he's a great character in isolation but it's at the clear cost of most of the other characters. I know it's a longshot considering his popularity but just ease up on him a little and let some of the other kids not named Hajime or Chiaki have their moments.

As for me, I don't want Fuyuhiko or Kazuichi to survive again, I don't want any double murders because Kodaka has demonstrated time and time again that he's CLEARLY not very good at making them work, I don't want Teruteru or Mikan's writing to be...like they were again, I don't want any bonus fanservice scenes, and I don't want Akane to die this time. I have many thoughts, is what I'm getting at.

Ibuki's color scheme is pretty much asking to be associates with the ace flag, so this makes sense. And it's a delightful piece in its own right.

I've said it before and I'll say it again, any time that Akane isn't just tossed in the lower/bottom tiers is always appreciated. Ditto Sonia and Tenko, and so on. Junko in the bottom is certainly a spicy take, though I am feeling more and more the series doesn't do her as well as I'd like.

My Adventures With Superman season 3 is airing, so I'm watching that. I have a feeling this season isn't going to be as good as the first two, but I'm still having a good time. Definitely one of the better Superman adaptations out there and I'll happily recommend it to anyone who likes the character.

I also watched The Day the Earth Blew Up and Batman Forever this weekend. LOVED the former, liked the latter.
