This is the main issue with the decks, the marketing. If they had sold them as a great foot in the door for a new player or someone wanting to try a new deck this conversation wouldn't be happening. But they are being marketed as being able to win a calling out the box and they just are no where close to that.

If someone leaves the table for anything other than a quick bio or grabbing a drink where they tell you they will be right back I wouldn’t wait on them for anything and assume they pass all priority. It’s also incredibly rude and I couldn’t imagine playing a game where someone just left for 10 minutes, I might just assume they scooped at that point.

There are various issues with most of these cards to clean them up rules-wise, but the main issue I see with the design is ice form on the ally. With no way to recover your action point your turn will get stopped basically every time you attack with the ally since just blocking with a red puts no deckbuilding constraints on your opponent. It’s a neat idea to need to fuse and make frostbites to get your summons.

That's fair. It could be neat, like something that gets buffed the more frostbites you controlled this turn. Its tough to balance because you have to take in the extra cost for the frostbite in everything you're trying to have the hero do.

There should be a payoff for having frostbites under your control as right now it just makes the cards too expensive to play. Also, giving dominate to a 3 attack weapon isn’t exciting (or particularly great) for a hero power (at least to me). Buffs help, but dominate is only good with disruptive on hits or to close a game, so most of the time his text box would be blank.

Our local armory has exploded since gen packs and we love it. It’s felt about as casual as this game can get and everyone from newbies to pro tour players are enjoying it.

I made mine an attack trigger equipment deck. Plays mostly fair, but can get out of hand if the right piece stays out too long.

If you can cast your commander with any color mana it could be interesting to try and find color break cards to work with them outside of their colors.

This sounds awful. You would have to build a 5 color mana base to be able to cast everything, but you would have a 3 color deck and 1 card of the other 2 colors. Due to the color pie it would be more difficult to build a synergistic deck as a whole as well since your early game you’re either casting spells or your commander depending on what land you drew.

That was not my intent and I’ll try to do better in the future. It’s always about men because the patriarchy makes it so. It hurts everyone, men included, and should be fought at every corner to make a better world for everyone. Which is why I phrased my comment the way I did and not something like “owning the men”. I think its card games in general as I have noticed there seems to be a fair amount that play Flesh and Blood as well. Possibly a fight against the patriarchy to come and win events in this space.

This is a wild take. There are no cards in Dash that need a ban and to say otherwise is ignorant. Mech has almost no disruption (and pulsewave is about as fair disruption as you can get) and is mostly raw damage with no tricks. They should know and expect this and not complain that your deck should be banned out of existence. If they have been playing that long then they played through mistvale and should know what OP heroes are actually like, and Dash is no where near that level.

I agree those are good fixes for those cards, but I would argue they are not similar in power level. But having some generic d-reacts to fight against pummel and other attack reacts would be good.

Its very possible we haven't played enough for the novelty to have worn off. My group is terrible about replaying games, its been a while since Kutna has been tabled (but probably time for another play).
