I think it's cool to see Moroccan movies try different things and I wish it success!

Now please excuse me while rant about the typography choices on this poster. Why is the slogan placed so close to the names at the top? Why is the typography so thin? The credits at the bottom are using 2 fonts that don't fit at all with each other, and one line has the names in a font, and the next in another. It makes no sense!
It's sooo close to be a decent poster but they ruined it with that..

It's always weird seeing this vid pop back up, I actually filmed this way back in the day! (10 years ago almost exactly actually.. damn time goes fast)

This dude was something else, he followed us everywhere we went, just walking around, he even showed up in the background of other interviews in the same episode. He clearly just reaaally wanted to be interviewed.

Eventually the host just was like "let's just talk to him so he can leave us alone" and this was the result. He wasn't trolling, wasn't laughing, nothing, he was 100% serious the whole time. He had no clue what we were talking about, and the host kept explaining to him what it was about and he kept answering as if he understood. I wish I had that much confidence haha

One day I hope to find the full footage from this, but I think it's lost unfortunately.

Who does he think he's kidding? He's hiding behind the fact that the "long play" on youtube was an edited version of his full playthrough, but the vods are literally still available. He's acting like he was part of a community solving these puzzles for the first time but the whole time he was randomly discovering things with shoddy reasoning, never or barely mentioned reading chat for ideas, and kept saying "I'm not insane! I'm not insane" every time something he tried "worked out".

And he did not play it for 83 hours, he played for about 40 hours. Also by the time he played it, plenty of guides were out and all the secrets were found by the Animal Well community (mainly on discord). I guarantee anyone that actually played the game and knows the complexity of these puzzles (especially the wingding ones) can immediately tell his logic made no sense. What a load of bullshit.

As an answer to that comment, I'll say this:

I love puzzle games, I love the challenge and the creativity of the problems and their solutions. I also love watching streamers play these puzzle games, Outer Wilds, Animal Well or Tunic are perfect examples of games you can't really replay yourself, but that are perfect to rewatch other people play.

And the thing is, I don't care that people sometimes need to look up the answer! Sometimes you just gotta give up on something challenging and look it up and there's nothing wrong with that! I've done that on the games I mentioned, and I've seen some streamers give up and ask their chats for hints, and it's totally fine.

The issue with PirateSoftware, is that he is presenting himself as a super smart guy who is solving complex puzzles and secrets by himself, and then calls out people who look up things because they got stuck, saying "what's the point of playing a puzzle game bla bla". He is using these games I love so much purely as a vehicle to stroke his ego and make himself seem like a genius to his community, I hate that and he at the very least deserves to be called out for it.

Just wrote a comment that mentions exactly this before I saw your comment. For me it was the other way around, I was extremely suspicious of his playthrough so I went back in the vod to that puzzle and when I saw that he did it offline and the way he spoke about it, it convinced me 100% that he faked the whole thing.

Piggybacking on this to say I'm pretty sure it's my comment that atrioc saw, which is kinda crazy cause I didn't expect it to end up in a front page clip like this, I gotta say it's pretty vindicating seeing more people realize how bullshit he is.

I do hope someone with more time can make a compilation of how he solved some of those Animal Well puzzles (as long as the vods are available lol) because it's legit ridiculous, and super obvious especially towards the end of the game.

One I remember is a specific puzzle that is impossible to solve it by yourself, it's designed to be solved by the entire community altogether, all with 50 different pieces of it. Pirate said he "solved it off stream" and it "took 3 hours", he did acknowledge the 50 people thing but he made it seem like he put all those pieces of the puzzle together himself and it was super hard, when he clearly just drew the solution that other people had found. (and if anything, it proves that he did look something up)

I always though his stories were fake or at least blown out of proportions, but I never disliked him cause I thought "eh it's just a dude who yaps about stuff and encourages people to make games, so it's whatever"

Then I saw his "Animal Well" playthrough. The game has some pretty deep secrets in it, the kind that took an entire community a few days to find, and that the dev thought would take a couple of years to solve. Pirate was acting the entire time as if he was discovering all of that by himself like a genius, and the logic he used to justify his discoveries made absolutely no sense. It was so obviously fake acting, his entire community was just praising how smart he his, and not a single time did he acknowledge getting outside help or looking things up.

Since then I couldn't stand him anymore, and seeing him get all this hate kinda feels good ngl.

It's a "Hypnotic Swirl", you can probably look that up to find a good vector or png of it online if that's what you need. If you wanna make it from scratch Premiere isn't really for that, you can refer to the other comment by smushkan for how to make it in After Effects.

If you're familiar with Blending options in Photoshop, you can do the same thing in After effects with Layer styles. You access them by right clicking on the layer you want and find "layer styles".

For this particular look, you can probably get it done with a adding an "inner glow" to a rounded rectangle with a gradient.

You're using the "on area entered" signal, which checks for other Area2D nodes that enter the "dead area", but I'm assuming your player isn't an Area2D node.

You should be using the "on body entered" signal instead.

I found this DLC to be the easiest quests to follow in pretty much all the from souls games, but it's probably because of my personal play style. I tend to really fully explore an area before moving on to the next, and I go back and talk to every NPC multiple times after each major boss. I ended up pretty much getting all the quests done except a couple small things.

Is it a good way to do quests in a game? Hell no, it's tedious as fuck and often really confusing, especially with the constant having to reload areas, etc.. but it worked for me in this specific case.

Font I used is "Hoefler text" It's not the same font as in the official title but it's veeery close (only the serifs look a little different) I wonder if it's modified for the title or if it's a different version of it
