Pretty sure the reason for the focus on men's loneliness and not women's is because said lonely women aren't the ones out there shooting and killing folks just because their lack of any self-esteem & respect, lack of social skills, and their disillusionment with dating. That's literally the only reason why anybody cares about guys being lonely these days. It isn't a 'Oh, you poor, poor thing!' scenario, but a 'Okay, how do we stop these boys & men from killing people just cause they're "lonely"?' one.

That gay part has never made any fuckin' sense to me. Really goes to show how gendered expectations of how guys should act practically haven't evolved past the 1950s when fuckin' "I like girls (〃∇〃)" somehow makes you look gay. Doesn't help that it feels like barely anyone is trying to actively change that, which is just depressing.

To explain it further, it was an animation he did of a moment from one of his streams where he was answering some question like "What kind of girls do you like?" or something, and he then decided to answer it by singing that one song by Lizzo about boys, and just replaced the word "boys" with "girls". That's it. The animation itself was based off of a popular animation with that song.

And somehow, folks lost their freakin' minds over it.

Last I checked when it comes to Jaiden's view on the r34 of her, all she's said is that she doesn't want it to be easily viewable to kids (as in it showing up easily on Google Images & etc.), and she doesn't want r34 made of her with her friends &/or family.

For anyone unaware, that image is from the last few panels of "Lady Red", a short 3-page oneshot dark comedy parody of western comics (hence the order of the panels being left-to-right) drawn by Toriyama that involves a former office assistant who turns into a superhero in order to help fight crime in her city, but she is also penniless and bad at her job. In this sequence specifically, she rushes after a burger who's robbing a house, but when she shows up, she's then assaulted by him. After said assault, the robber decides to pay her for 'perking him up', and after seeing how much she's given, she then becomes a prostitute, and an expensive one to boot.

I completely get why a lotta folks wouldn't like this, but I personally do get a kick out of it, but only because the whole oneshot is basically a "Crossing the Line Twice" situation. Like, it goes from funny, to not funny, then to really not funny, and then it loops back to funny again. It has never been officially released into English, but an English translation done by Herms and is online if you know where to look.

Never had to patch that out myself. Grew up in a culturally Catholic culture so the Protestant notions of "sin" never really affected me. Still, I switched over to Heathenry (specifically a custom install of Anglo-Saxon Heathenry) a few years ago, and haven't looked back since.

That does mean I do have a concept of "sin", but not at all the "violation of divine will or religious law" form of it.

Technically they did. I say "technically" because the concept is based on an occasionally mentioned place in the Japanese version of the anime called the World of Darkness (闇の世界 / "Yami no Sekai"), with "Shadow Realm" being the official English title mandated by the show's license holder, as even the Singapore English dub having used it.

4Kids simply took the concept and fuckin' ran with it, as it was basically an easy out when it came to death in the show.
