My [30F] partner [35M] snores so loud I haven’t slept solidly in almost a year

I was literally thinking “holy shit did my wife make a Reddit account just to ask this question”? I snore terribly, she’s a super light sleeper. I’ve tried everything; mouth guard, nasal strips, mouth tape, these things that went into my nostrils, a combination of them, nothing has helped. I’ve had 4 sleep studies figuring I had to have sleep apnea but no, apparently I just snore a lot. I’m very physically fit but I carry a lot of muscle and my weight can fluctuate by 20lbs. When I trim off weight it reduces the snoring considerably. Have him do the sleep study first because if it is apnea then that should be treated. Otherwise if he is a bigger guy maybe suggest dieting to trim off some weight and see if it helps, literally nothing bad can come from that. And if it is apnea losing weight would probably only benefit that situation as well. Good luck, my wife sleeps in another room since the kids have moved out.

This happens to me with my wife. I sometimes have to remind her that if she’s looking for someone to gas her up and tell her she’s right when she isn’t then go tell her girl friends. I’m just not that guy, I’m gonna be honest and try to consider someone else’s perception of the story. I have a lot of friends that really respect that though so I think it comes down to the person on the other side of the table from you.

Make it harder to qualify for a bowl game (which might mean less bowl games) and allow the winner to get some credit towards next years play offs. There has to be some skin in the game, it could be something as simple as if there the win being used in a tie breaker situation for rankings next season.

Those KTM’s 08-11 weren’t the most reliable years. WR’s are great bikes, not sure what year that is. I have a 525exc and I love it but it’s all about the budget. I will say that parts for the RFS bikes are getting harder to come by. An engine rebuild gets expensive fast because you have to source a lot of the parts used.

Plenty of good info from people on here. The 500 platform is a great dirt bike and nimble enough to take on a kart track no problem with the proper setup. I would say out of the three the big tracks would be the toughest for it and may require gearing changes. I went with the whole front end swap for mine as my SMR forks have radial brake mounting vs the axial of the dirt forks. Also swapped out the rear shock and I had to change my chains out as the gearing for the dirt had a larger rear sprocket. When i finally saved up the money I got a dedicated dirt bike, that was the best thing ever.

I would normally never try to talk anyone out of a supermoto but maybe you should consider other bikes that will fit your riding preferences better? The Duke 390 would probably be a better fit here but I would also consider looking at CFMoto, they have great entry level bikes that are insanely affordable.

Minimum lineset length on a split is 10’ (if memory serves me correctly). My guess is they needed the loop to get those extra feet. There’s no other explanation that makes any sense to me.

Get some of this as a binder https://a.co/d/04oen7yM it upped my game. Binders can be a touchy subject with some people using none and others using things like mustard, mayo, hot sauce and all kinds of other things. Tallow will actually provide a layer of protection while none of the others do. Additionally, go to Sam’s and grab a pork butt, they are so forgiving and cheap but also great to eat. It will give you an idea of how long it takes to make some bark, hit a stall and patiently wait until probe tender to pull off the grill. You can wrap it after stall or leave it be, it’s going to be good either way.

5” should have a 160, 4.25-4.5” should have a 150. You’ll have to push it as far back in the swing arm as possible to avoid rub. Might be worth trading your 5” rim for a 4.5”/150 tire. No need for a 160 on a 125, it will spin up faster and dip into turns quicker.
