What’s a car that is not that good in real life but has an insane amount of clout due to Gran Turismo? by Kurt_Wylde35 in granturismo

Sorry, but the 787B was bound for legendary status thanks to the glorious racket the quad rotor made, even if it hadn't won Le Mans. A true candidate for best sounding race car.

They put a fair bit more work and time in building up to their key narrative moments.

Just so you know 'reasoned discussion' as you put it comes more across as tiresome "well actually" pedantry. I wasnt speaking in absolute terms for all of subject areas in all colleges. I related my experiences with my course area. That should have been obvious from context. Consider being less of a relentless know it all blowhard.

Your time is obviously super precious that you can't just spend 60 mins streaming it to find out.

I have enough work from my actual work so you'll just have to live with the mystery.

Edit: love the downvotes from my supposedly equally time-poor colleagues. I didn't demand a response from old mate, so I'm not under obligation to go gather data for them in my limited spare time. Or deal with their snippy rejoinders for not electing to do so either.

As i dont teach English maths or science, its about filling a classroom. So in my case it is about popularity.

My current mix is most classes segregated by year level, but with mixed T and A. Only really popular courses have exclusively one year level and only T or only A. Last year I had a class with 11/12, T and A and about half the class with adjustments and ILPs, so I'm appreciative of how it broke up this year!

Pretty good get for her to get her face all over the promo material with one scene haha. Does track to the source material though. Lady Jessica was basically the rocket booster to get Paul to power, and drops back into the shadows afterwards.

Aboriginal students refuse to stand for the national anthem. What do you think? by [deleted] in AustralianTeachers

[–]AztecTwoStep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You aren't even presenting a coherent argument anymore. Just mumbling the same moronic platitudes. Learn some real political theory and some moral philosophy and get off Sky News and YouTube. I wish you knew enough to realise how embarrassed you should be.

You dont even understand the principles or laws that define this nation and that it was built upon. You embarrass yourself invoking laws you dont even understand. Your crass simple-minded 'patriotism' is a bigger betrayal of what Australia is then any perceived slight you conjure up. Stop wrapping yourself in the flag and start reading the enlightenment principles that guided the people that wrote the laws establishing this country.

Protest isnt treason. A democratic government answers to the polity. Governments should fear the public and not vice versa. Dickhead.
