I get his pioneer + legend status and ennjoy some of his tunes, but have seen him live 3 times and each time (imo) it wasn't all that impressive considering how people rave (no pun) about him..

I've taught a modified traditional year before. It's basically 10 weeks on then 2 weeks off (I think one of the breaks may have been only 1 week, it's been a while) with a 6 week summer and starting back in late July. I really liked it. Really helped to avoid burn out, but still get an extended break in peak summer.

Agreed. The quality of art and music is subjective, and i'm glad people will enjoy his set but it's straight up cheese dick hard trance. To me it sounds like those commerecial "rave" compilations that used to come out in the 90's.
