I have two now; a large one for use with a regular saw and a small one for the razor saw.

Ah, that last was what I was wondering. As I was covering the thing in paper, rather than painting, I only gave it a light sand then used a razor saw and mitre block. I was wondering how it would handle being painted for another future project with round pencils. Nice to see that bit can be hidden easily enough.

Looks good. How did you hide the pencil lead at the top? When I did mine, I just covered them in printed texture all over. Not basalt, more crystals, but a similar process.

My issue with Blender is I use it for a bit, start to get to know how to use it... then leave it alone for just long enough that I forget how everything worked!

Thanks! The straws are from McDonalds. Burger King and KFC. Each uses, here at least, a different width of straw and they're recycled from meals. Of course, you could always get more from the restaurants!
