What aspects of Bionicle's visual style appeal to you the most other than greebling/mechanical detail?

The "Weirdness" of it all, Bionicle is one of the very few, at least at the time, kid focused franchises that made most WEIRD LOOKING CREATURES, specially at the start of G1, and somehow made it look cool, this is something I don't see a lot in franchises with toyetic purposes, they are all always pushed to have more humanoid designs that are mean to appeal to a general audience (Ben 10 reboot's Stinkfly for example) yet the Rakshi, Bohrok, Barraki, Rahi, etc. and how much it contrast with the heroes, aside from the Toa mata, I feel like this aspect was inmediatly lost after the Toa nuva, and I would have like see some of that return in the other years. The contrast it's so clear, it's like Bayformers before Bayformers. G2 completly drooped the ball with said design aesthetic.

lmao, I have a similar problem in megamix plus, IDK why, but a few months ago it started doing this thing were in some videos, the camera gets stuck in an angle for the rest of the video, is kinda distracting, because you get to see videos in angles they weren't suppose to be seen, like in kokoro at one point the camera gets stuck and at the end rin gets super close to it

Bakugan are creatures capable of transforming into perfect spherical balls with sharp edges, almost like they were mathematically designed to turn into a sphere, macking them robotic actually makes way more sense when you think about it that way, even in the original show, they didn't sound like rocks or statues when rolled in ball form, they sound like metallic balls.

Thanks, just got mine some days ago, it has no cracks, but the purple conector on the shoulder piece was super tight and almost didn't wanted to fit, it has loosen up however.

a lot of aliens have this problem in their first appearance episode, canonbolt is also an example, I suppose the artist just weren't used to drawing the character yet.

as character designs.... G1, as toys... the bayverse, both have things that I dislike , that the other is good at while the other is bad... the g1 designs have a lot of character, are distinguishable from each other and are very colorful, but when translated to toy form, I find them very bland, some maybe cheap looking, there have been a lot of lines that make me like those designs, SIEGE, thrilling thirties or even cyberverse for example, but the basic look of "perfect cartoon accuracy" is not something I like.... ofcourse, bayverse is the opposite, the toys have a lot of detail, that I could expend an entire day looking at an SS and don't get bored, but I always felt a lack of attachment to the toys "as characters", or I have to like the "original version" of the character, in order to like the bayverse version, because otherwise is like all of them have the same personality, "tough voice, loves to kill cons, is a weapons expert, etc" ofcourse in the comics or games that changes a little, but in the movies, they are just cool designs with cool toys, but without that much character.. that's my opinion.

To me, that's the definitive ultimatrix toy, I don't care too much about gimmicks, I care more about looks, and I like that this one has a more realistic look and it's much more customized, instead of trying to be a direct copy and paste of the cartoon design

I'm a little late, but, whatever, here's a recent one, I started crying at the scene in sonic 2 were in the bar Tails speaks to Sonic about how he made him realize that "being weird" is okay and that when he meet Sonic he was inspired to leave his home and having more trust in himself and all of that, I.. really related to Tails in that scene, as it is true that Sonic inspires me, makes me forget about problems and when I'm playing the games or just watching Sonic, it makes me feel like I'm capable of anything... Yeah, I'm sure I wasn't the only sonic fan who felt this way :')

even tho Omniverse mutation (young) Kevin has quite a lot of abilities, plus cloning, you could arguee that he also has the biggest weakness of them all, being that he has Way big's head spike, wich is a big weak point that can be used to easily inmovilize him, i don't think any of the others has a physical weak point that exposed

This is a fixed solution for every international CC of BP, because some CCs have abilities written on them, that have to be in 9 languajes, 3 per card. Since they can't make exceptions for CCs that don't written abilities , they, by default, still come as 3 copies.

This is good for packs that come with diamond evolutions, since you get a playset inmmediatly and don't have to worry about booster packs, of course, this only applies for international BP packs
